Eventually after Revan becomes good, between the KOTOR games, they go to look for the mask and when they find it Revan gives it to Canderious who names himself Mandalore the Preserver.

The events of KOTOR 2 are ignored because it did not have a major impact on the political standpoint of the galaxy, and honestly not that much happend to the galaxy during that period to warrent any mention. Reven is better off with a face because his story can actually continue. No one can expand on the story of someone with no core identity. You can flame about Bioware giving him a face or them ignoreing KOTOR 2, but TOR will be a great game because of that. TSL didn't actually DO anything.

this game has its flaws.....according to one of the books...the helm/mask revan wears is mandalores helm....thats why one of the clones says he is from clan ordo...meaning boba fett is from clan ordo...thus getting the helmet passed down from canderous!!! =)
Would have been awesome if he (Revan) took the helmet, and fashioned it into his current cool-looking mask. I thought I read this somewhere though. Found out later it wasn't cannon.
I LOVE this Mandalore/Canderous. He sounds less agressive, and more...insightful. He has the best views on being a warrior and battle, and he respects the Exile for what he did.

@bigsteamfan: That's where you're misinformed. Basically you didn't pay much attention in this game as in this game it is mention several times that Revan's memories eventually returned to him/her. That's why Revan knew where the helmet was.

If he remained to the light side, which I think it's canon, than this doesn't exactly bond one with the other, having all the former memories of the dark lord, and having to live with yourself after all that killing, and still remaining a Jedi...

Besides, it's a role playing game and with that comes choices and those choices are whatever you want them to be. It's not targeted or bias to either gender in both games. I know them well enough to understand that much.
It's the comics which needed to set a gender, a look, etc, that needed some sort of canon to work with.
@JediShemL Actually, it is. Look at TOR, and the history logs that are on Bioware's website. It claims Revan was a man and that he saved the republic with Bastila. Thus, there is actual canon concerning KoTOR that must be constant or else it would conflict with TOR's canon. However, I do not think it interferes with KoTOR II's canon, so its possible that it could be anything (though Pete is correct about the female part according to Lucas Arts).
@ThreeSixXero: But you seem to forget that the games were made well before TOR. When they were made, it was focused on the player's choice for both. TOR wasn't even thought of yet. Heck, even there was early development for KOTOR III that was cancelled that came before that. Understand now?
Oh, and BTW, it seems as if TOR is going to try to forget KOTOR II ever happened. What a shame.

I would say the Canderous' head is modded. Cuz you find out that the helmeted mandalor is him during the game but you can never get him to take the thing off. Also think its a mod cuz his voice still sounds like its coming from a helmet mike.

Would have been awesome if he (Revan) took the helmet, and fashioned it into his current cool-looking mask. I thought I read this somewhere though. Found out later it wasn't cannon.

I LOVE this Mandalore/Canderous. He sounds less agressive, and more...insightful. He has the best views on being a warrior and battle, and he respects the Exile for what he did.
But to put it briefly; I would go GAY for Mandalore

@JediShemL Revan's memory was erased, and even after he found out that he was Revan, very little of his former memory remained, how could he possibly remember where he hid that helmet, and why hide it in the first place... when he could have destroyed it and end the mandalorians...

@bigsteamfan: That's where you're misinformed. Basically you didn't pay much attention in this game as in this game it is mention several times that Revan's memories eventually returned to him/her. That's why Revan knew where the helmet was.

@JediShemL And canonically, Revan sticked to the light side or he returned to the dark side, after the memory return ? If he remained to the light side, which I think it's canon, than this doesn't exactly bond one with the other, having all the former memories of the dark lord, and having to live with yourself after all that killing, and still remaining a Jedi...

@bigsteamfan: Revan's memories returning have to do with the reason why Revan left into unknown space to find the True Sith. All this is explained in the game if you pay attention.

@JediShemL True but the game was made for Revan to be a man, and the exile to be a woman, but you can change the gender to your liking and it really doesn't make a difference except in the romantic subplots and such

@PistolPete7556: I don't think so. The whole "canon" thing came after the releases of the two games. Besides, it's a role playing game and with that comes choices and those choices are whatever you want them to be. It's not targeted or bias to either gender in both games. I know them well enough to understand that much.
It's the comics which needed to set a gender, a look, etc, that needed some sort of canon to work with.

@JediShemL Actually, it is. Look at TOR, and the history logs that are on Bioware's website. It claims Revan was a man and that he saved the republic with Bastila. Thus, there is actual canon concerning KoTOR that must be constant or else it would conflict with TOR's canon. However, I do not think it interferes with KoTOR II's canon, so its possible that it could be anything (though Pete is correct about the female part according to Lucas Arts).

@ThreeSixXero: But you seem to forget that the games were made well before TOR. When they were made, it was focused on the player's choice for both. TOR wasn't even thought of yet. Heck, even there was early development for KOTOR III that was cancelled that came before that. Understand now?
Oh, and BTW, it seems as if TOR is going to try to forget KOTOR II ever happened. What a shame.

@JediShemL They did make the excuse (at an E3 interview) that the events of kotor 2 weren't known to the galaxy at whole and that's why it's not mentioned. Painting Revan as a bad guy in the chronology videos pissed me off thought but I unlike the rest of you haven't given up all my faith in bioware yet. : /

I would say the Canderous' head is modded. Cuz you find out that the helmeted mandalor is him during the game but you can never get him to take the thing off. Also think its a mod cuz his voice still sounds like its coming from a helmet mike.

Yes and no. Yes it was a mod to show Canderous without the helmet. No it is not a mod to see it that way.
Reason being is that Obsidian did make a helmet-less Canderous model, left it in the game, but never used it for game play.

Yeah.. if they ever get the chance... hopefully this time if they do have a chance at it, since I'll never consider tor as a kotor 3 no matter what others say. If they have the chance I hope Lucasarts won't bully them around again.

Exactly! Kotor III is lost in LucasArt's foolish attempt at another "Galaxies" mmo. Kotor III is dead I'm afriad.
The Modding scene is near death , It's been well over 6-7 years now , Kotor II is now just an option to buy at lucasarts and modders and veterans like myself retreat back into the darkness waiting and forgetting about other games.
