I'm not sure what happened to the original rails. They might have been removed under different pastoral leadership. The current pastor, Fr. Brown, wants rails restored so that the TLM can be properly celebrated. One other note is that the priest in the video was a visiting priest and not the pastor.

@BeAliveinChrist We are traditional Catholics who've recently left Orlando & our beloved St. Josephs' & Fr. Brown. We support him in his efforts to restore the beautiful & reverent traditional latin Mass to St. Joseph's. We will move back to Orlando as soon as possible & even sooner if he celebrates the TLM daily & on Sundays!!! We miss you Padre Brown.....your faithful parishioners that moved to West Texas.....

Adding altar rails when the priest in the video gives Communion in the hand? Wasn't St. Joseph built or founded in 1962? The TLM, in some way or form was still around then. So, what happened to the original rails?
