Thats fraps. Its a reccording tool, and it shows what your framerate is.

Its fairly the same, but I guess the 1008HA is slightly better.

What settings are you using to play this? I have tried HL1 mods on my 1000HE and the FPS is terribly low.

I just got my 1000HE eee pc today and when I try to play counter strike 1.6 or the first half life well lets just say counter strike is virtually unplayable online I havent tried with bots yet and half life well some parts of the train ride went smooth but for the most part not so much. i havent updated anything on the eee pc because i dont know where to go to do that so far the only thing i have done was take out the 1 gig and put in a 2 gig stick of ram.
