  • This is wool cute. The ending song made me cry

  • I so da'ed when they held hands

  • I agree with the previous comment... Stupid nintendo

  • hmm you know one thing i really don't like is that if you beat the game and then go back to the deamon place everything starts over again... UGH...

  • Zelda:HI LINK

    link:*blushes* HI

zelda:ill wait until u defeat that monster *looks back at link*

    Link:*takes off shirt*

zelda:IM NOT READY FOR THAT and ur nipples ae small

    thubs up if u agree

  • i love this ending! when i beat the game i'm picking this one!

  • honestly this is the best ending, funny, peacefull, kinda giving a feel of feelings between them, kinda like spirit tracks will continue :D

  • never distract anyone whos fighting with dangerous things and the ending is why

  • Finnally held hands :D Cut though

  • @MrStephen120 they weren't just holding hands. after she got her body back, she hugged him.

  • aww that waas cut

  • LinkxZelda is blatantly obvious (throughout the whole series), but few people are able to get it right.

  • @CintiaObscure Well, in some games (twilight princess in particular) there IS more evidence for him falling for other characters.......but in games where zelda is the only LI, then it IS pretty blatant.

  • @cantthinkofaname1029 There is ZeLink even in TP: they hold hands. That's a kind of an action which screams "romance". That single cutscene by itself disqualifies any other cutscene with any other character who might be considered love interest. Plus, the creators support it, so when people see romance between Link and Anyone-but-Zelda, I call it misinterpretation. Bill Trinen stated Ilia and Midna are just Link's friends once. When asked about Zelda, well...

  • @CintiaObscure ......They held hands...but midna came this close to saying she loved him. >.> At least, tahts the general consensus.

Well, if you ask me, I think midna x link was more obvious, but thats a bit controversial, so I'll just wait until they bring her back. (I believe they will; they said they would if she got popular enough, and I think shes gotten.......pretty popular XD)

  • Why theres a BROWN object blocking half of the credits?

  • @artixvonkrigor Emulation glitch. I couldn't fix it back then... It's a shame, because the artworks at the credits are really beautiful.

  • wait...all that time it was just a car she was riding in???

  • @AwesomeAznGuy3 More like a mechanized wheel-chair, but yes :P

  • @ragyrge All this time I thought Byrne was just a birth-defected Lokomo...

  • Lol at the ending.

    Zelda: HI!!!

Link: Hi! I'm training to be a warrio-*stab*

    Zelda: O_o Not anymore...

  • Awwwwww!!! They held hands! X3

  • How do you get that ending!? I got like 2 different ones!???

  • I guess Link was distracted by Zelda while he was fighting whick caused him to get KO.

  • Is Anjean Tetra? Because she has the same hairstyle and wink so... x)

  • @PokeGurlxDD well i do know in the split timeline they arnt direct sequals but they have a game inbetween them so yeah she might be cuzz at the beginning of spirit tracks you see neemo

  • @PokeGurlxDD I'dont think that Tetra was lokomo. She was hylian. But she and Anjean were good friends.

  • Link! You aren't souposed to get distracted while swordfighting! I don't care if she *does* like you!

  • did anyone notice the big brown line at the bottom of the pictures, noy just me?oh and i that was sooooo cute when he did that small heeya (haha) and i hope he didn't get hurt when he fell (heehee)

  • woah my ending didnt have zelda waving at me so which ending do i have?

  • Every Zelda in every Legend of Zelda game is a descendant of prior Zeldas. For example, in Spirit Tracks, Zelda is the granddaughter of the Zelda from Wind Waker (a.k.a. Tetra). All Links, however, are not descendants. They are completely different people with no relation to each other at all. In fact the main characters of the Legend of Zelda games are not named Link at all. Remember you can name your character in every Zelda game. "Link" is the common name given to the hero of the Zelda games.

  • 3:19 Awwwww How cute!

  • How about this argument:

Miyamoto makes it up as he goes and purposley doesnt answer questions about hyrule lure because he has no answer leaving it up to the player to fill in the blanks.

Do believe whatever YOU want. Thats the purpose.

  • and think a bit, another hundred years could of passed and thus starting the twilight princess saga. :O

  • The difference between the endings is slight.

    - Engineer

Train noise, Zelda waves goodbye to Link as he goes off on a mission.

    -Warrior

Fighting and slashing noises, Zelda waves hello to Link as he trains in the courtyard.

  • there is barely a difference between both endings

  • If you look closely around 7:14 you can see Zelda kept Anjeans weird chair thing.

  • what up with the brown thing showing up at the bottom of the pictures in the credits?

that happened to me too :(

  • @XtoxicXcookieXdoughX - Strange...did you download your copy? I bought mine and there weren't any brown blocks in the credits.

  • @BalisongAbraxas No I bought it at GameStop.

(not saying anything against that store :P)

  • this is like the oracles

  • Hehe~ This game was so cute. :3

There were a lot of LxZ moments in this game xD At least, in my opinion.

  • Oh & the drawings of Link in the end were so cute xD~

  • 3:19, hehe aww

  • ZOMG ANJEAN HAS LEGS??? i thought she just had WHEELS for legs XDDD

  • The ending is funny. XD And I love how Link and Zelda hold hands!! Finally!!

  • How are the warrioa and engineer endings

    chosen ?

  • @Hayabusha-wtf idk zeldas significant other is tetra.

  • whats the differents at the ending on being engineer and a warrior

  • @ifoundyou37 If you pick engineer you get an ending involving the train.

  • well ifoundyou37 the difference in the game if you are an engineer, instead of seeing link dueling against sombody, you hear a train horn and zelda looks out the window

  • Why does the lady in the cart remind me of someone...

  • Spirit tracks is my fave Zelda game next to Wind waker! <3

  • ok do link and zelda ever get together? i know a lot of people think so but non of the games suggest that. so do they?

  • No game confirms that, but this game, and Adventure of Link, certainly suggest it...

  • Link is not always a direct descendant from the original... In fact, only Twilight Princess Link is implied (not even confirmed, just implied) to be a descendant of a previous Link, while ALttP Link descends from a Knight of Hyrule that may or may not have been a previous Link...

Wind Waker Link (as well as any Link in the Adult Timeline) is certainly not a descendant from the original, as OoT Link left the Adult Timeline for good without leaving any descendants behind...

  • I have no idea at all what you're talking about in your last paragraph.

  • @ragyrge wind waker is linked with ocarina of time because when link goes under water to hyrule it shows a link model made of rock with the master sword and there linked by the triforce of courage and at the start of the hole game of wind waker even says that link on wind waker is a rencarnation

  • @ragyrge I agree with everything you said about the past and future timeline but not this part:"Each Link and Zelda are reincarnations and direct descendants of the originals" (we know ocarina of timelink is the original but you meant tetra and the link who fount the new territory right?)

if that was true then spirit tracks link and zelda would be brother and sister,we don't know you could say but knowing nintendo I can almost assure you that's not the case.

  • @henslight I'm going to assume you meant to send that to me. If Link and Zelda had descendants but weren't of the same bloodline, how would that make them brother and sister? Even if they were related, that would make them extremely distant cousins at the most, but that many generations of in-breeding would eventually start fucking up their genetics. This series' storyline is chaotic and Nintendo themselves don't even know how it all fits. They supposedly have some papers drawn up somewhere.

  • @HayabusaNoTsuchi ...wait,you are right about the blood, then when you said "originals" you MEANT link and tetra who made a new hyrule and not the ocarina ones right? even thought there is no proof to say the links are their decendants (zelda yes)

the last thing I agree,it's IIMPOSIBLE to make a chronology that fits every game...it's obious nintendo just makes new zeldas without considering ALL the previous ones and it gets even more imposible to understand, miyamoto's interviews show it...

  • @henslight I wouldn't go as far as to say they didn't consider them, but to some degree I think they aren't trying to fit everything together, or at the very least they simply haven't made things clear yet. Personally, I can see the pros and cons of both hypotheses (Links being reincarnated and Links being descendants) but my initial impression was that they were descendants because Link has always found at least one potential love interest, but I just can't see it being Zelda more than once.

  • @HayabusaNoTsuchi "but to some degree I think they aren't trying to fit everything together" that's exactly what I mean, did you read the last interview? it seems like miyamoto has completely forgotten about the four swords existence when talking about multiplayer...

"Link has always found at least one potential love interest"

I don't liken to reach conclusions if there is no enought proof for them, that would be fanfiction instead of a hypothesis.

  • @henslight There doesn't have to be proof; it's a hypothesis. This is nothing like a fan fiction because I'm not wishing that something happens, I am insinuating that something could happen. That's why I called the interests potential instead of guaranteed.

  • @HayabusaNoTsuchi there has to,to be consider a hypothesis it must be able to be prove right or wrong,if you can't do either of them it is not.that's why I call it fanfiction, menatl one at least.

  • @henslight That's not true at all. There are plenty of hypotheses that are unproven, for instance any religion. The most fundamental flaw in your random bout of name-calling is that a fan fiction is just that: fiction. It is a ficticious story in which a creator projects what he or she wishes upon characters that exist. Clearly I am neither creating a story nor implying my desires upon the storyline.

  • @HayabusaNoTsuchi if it's already proven then it's a theory(or that's what they taught at least)

not necesarily a fanfiction is what the author wishes for x character.

for me if you say that link may have had a romance with any of the girls it would be...ok,not fanfiction but it is still something make up by a fan without any proof to even say it COULD have happen. what I find wrong is including that as a posible proof to say some links are decendants from another one.

  • @henslight Actually, a theory is a hypothesis that has never been disproved, i.e. evolution. How is that a problem? If Link has had descendants, then that means he would have had to have unprotected sex with a woman. It is only logical to assume that it may have been one of the characters represented in the game, and, in OoT's case, the only logical character was Malon since it can't be Zelda and Ruto is of a different species.

  • @HayabusaNoTsuchi agree with the hypothesis....

"If Link has had descendants, then that means he would have had to have unprotected sex with a woman" yes, that's natural.

". It is only logical to assume that it may have been one of the characters represented in the game" no,it is not logical at all,you are just thinking that could happen with nothing official to support it,and even if it was the case why would some link be their decendant?

  • @henslight How is that "not logical at all?" There is absolutely nothing illogical about anything I've said, least of all that. Why would anyone bother to create characters that don't serve any purpose. As for asking why "some link [would] be their descendant," that question is too stupid to answer.

  • @henslight I said they are not necessarily reincarnations or descendants... And that Wind Waker's Link is most certainly not OoT Link's descendant/reincarnation... It was Hayabusa who said otherwise :P

  • @henslight oi ocarinahero10's timeline is almost correct there is a split timeline it goes on one side ocarina of time,a link to the past, the wind waker, the phantom hourglass, links awakening, and spirit tracks because in phantom hourglass the ocean king also the wind fish shows up in the end then after time passes the events of links awakening appear and then when the old crew from ww and ph come back they are all old and the new link and zelda are back while ganon is sealed

  • So, Link and Zelda can end up together, and in fact, it is heavily implied to have happened in Adventure of Link, with Link clearly kissing Zelda in the ending... There's no reason to believe it can't happen in another game where Link doesn't have any other love interest...

In fact, during Spirit Tracks, you see Link and Zelda bonding very well, to the point of, at least, becoming good friends, and the endings leave it in the air if it did or not develop even further...

  • He did?? Well I never played Zelda 2 because everyone's told me it was terrible. I know it happens in Spirit Tracks... I said it does.

  • @ragyrge

Don't forget the Oracle games, Zelda kisses Link in both endings of the Linked Games.

  • @ragyrge I agree with the romance between them but it is imposible for the firts link to have had decendants in the future timeline (where wind waker and spirit tracks happen) because he was sent to the past one at the end of ocarina of time, meaning there was no link anymore there,in fact the king of red lions tells jabun that the link that is with him is no decendant of the hero of time, about spirit tracks link there is no proof to say he is or isn't wind waker link's decendant.

  • @ragyrge and also in the linked game ending of oracle of ages and seasons.

she kisses link, causing link to start swooning and zelda blushing and turning away while hearts float above their heads

  • @ragyrge Yeah, usually its pretty controversial on whom link winds up with, but in games like these, where zelda is pretty much the only female in the game with spotlight, its pretty obvious. Even moreso with her increased role.

  • the ending make me always sad :(

  • Even though I prefer Link to be an engineer, I pick this ending because it's just too cute. <33333

  • wat happened to black ganon

    not raceist

  • it's not Ganon, it's Malladus. different bad guy in this game. like how in PH there was Bellum, you don't see ganon in the DS games so far.

  • @twinleafshippingfan1 Ganon was the train in this game. Look at its face.

  • @FredGolden oh yeah... i forgot about that part x3

  • lol MALLADUS MIGRANE!!!!!!

  • 1 thing i dont understand is that link is the decendent of the protector of the protectoe (and so on and so forth) of prinses zelda he should know cabout the other ancestor of his and that ghes destened to protect her

  • ......how the heck did niko live to be like over 100 years old! if anyone should its link i mean figuring that he lived healthy and all -.- hehe niko look old! hey anyone notice the pic of tetra on the wall before link gets his certificate?

  • lol links belt has a number 6 on it looks like hes belly button XD

  • heh link failed when he looked over to zelda... XD

  • ok i know about linebeck, but what about link? he's should be so friggen old by now... if anybody knows about this please reply to my comment or send me a message thanks...

  • hes linebeck the 3rd

  • @santufay maybe links grand son? haha maybe he has a grand daughter too XD

  • its different linebecks, i dont know why but all the linebecks sound look and have the same attitudes... so this isn't the same linebeck from phantom hourglass... this is linebeck the III and that was the linebeck senior from phantom so yeah...

  • notice at the end when it says The end that there are no tracks leading to the tower os spirits???

  • how come the picutres are cut off in the warrior ending? the dunno ending has full pictures

  • @ cojocoolio Dont you get it? In my opinion, warrior for Link would be his sword so he couldve slashed them by accident...... Its a guess!

  • lol i see.

  • Yup.... but I think its why though............ Maybe and the engineer one is different too..... I havent played through all them yet. So I'll tell you later.

  • wait... but unless im mistaken, isnt that sailor guy (forgot his name) the 2nd-to-main character in phantom hourglass? so wouldnt he be like 136?

  • Oh, you mean linebeck? Ok, before I say anything, OMFG, HIS REACTION IN PHANTOM HOURGLASS HAD SUCK EPIC MUSIC! thank you. Now, this guy is linebeck the third, aka his grandson. Behind the shop, there is linebeck's grave. Also, near the bgiining of the game in a cutscene, there's tetra in a stained glass window, and there are many other references to PH :D Glad to be of service!

  • should i have picked engineer or warrior?

Link has been an engineer since the beginning of the game but He's been a warrior when he is fighting enemies to get the railmaps and stuff.

  • 2:51 is a remix of majoras mask

  • What´s the song called at 0:42?

  • i think this game is my favorite mainly because link and zelda actually have a more personal relationship. it's not like other games where zelda seemed really detached.

OoT: that's for saving hyrule, but i'm going to send you back in time 7 years so you can live your life.

TP: thanks for saving hyrule, but i barely know you so... yeah...

but granted there was some relationship between midna and link, until midna shattered the twilight mirror...

  • I know that they were supposed to be related in "A link to the past," but can the same be said about the Zelda and Link in all of the games? Just by knowing that each Link and Zelda originated from past ancestors, also named Link and Zelda, unless the original Link and Zelda kept a self reproductive line, it would be impossible for each new generation of Link and Zelda to be siblings.

ST occurs more than 200 years after "A link to the past," so it would be impossible for them to be related.

  • Comment removed

  • But link isn't royalty.

The uncle was supposed to say destiny.

  • @roo525

As zodiacdragoon already said, I think they're only brother and sister in a link to the past. In some games, like Zelda II, Link and Zelda even kiss at the ending and in the cartoon series, Link always wants a kiss from Zelda. That would be very weird if they were brother and sister...

  • Nope, he said, "Zelda is your DESTINY"

you can find it on the official site or on the GBA game he says it. on SNES he only say "Zelda is your..."

  • Comment removed

  • @zodiacdragoon I know ^__^

I hate how every 'romantic gesture' can have other meanings in a number of these games! I like to think this is the most unambiguous of the lot, but who knows?

For example in Oot: Link changing his body language when 'talking' to Zelda and sticking out his arm when they hear the noise at the end- could be love, but it could just be chronic hero just-doing-my-duty syndrome.

But yeah. This is the cutest.

  • Out of the three endings, this is my favourite ^^

  • Who would skip a scene in a Story-based game.

A Fps I can understand, but..

  • i cant get the commpass of light

  • if you choose engineer you hear the whistle based on the train you drive. I didn't even know the whistle changed based on the train until the ending since my skull train made a strange screaching sound since I bought it right before the end.

  • I skipped the train scene so I didn't get anything :S

  • does zelda have a dragon scale on her head?

  • Wait is FS+ manga the graphic novel.

  • Also my name is actually WaCkYbRo

  • Well they did hold hands in the four swords graphic novel.

  • 7:19 thats sounds like it must have hurt.

  • they hold hands at the end of four swords.

  • @WaKeYbRo I thought they only held hands in the FS+ manga, I didn't realize they held hands in the actual game.

  • whats blocking the screen during credits?

  • Umm... If Link used a gun, it wouldn't be fun at all. The Zelda games are supposed to be appropriate and well...enjoyable... I don't even want to imagine Link using a gun. It would be horrible... Zelda series should stick during the old times. You know what they say Nothing Beats The Oldies... Just like Ocarina of Time ! It surely is a Legend !

  • XD He got distracted :P

  • the game was to short and easy.but it was interesting

  • HOLD HANDS SERESLIY??!! dude they kissed behind the curtains in the adventure of link

  • They're just kids in this game. I think it's cute.

  • @ELiTOne809

THERE LIKE 10 YEARS OLD and way more innocent then like any human-being ever alive cause its a fictional world. Holding hand in Zelda is like kissing. Cause thats all your gonna get. Now you know. Use your knowledge wisely.

  • Actually they look like 10 years old but if you look at the drawings in the end scene they are supposed to be like somewhere around 13 to 16

  • I prefered they holded hands, they're kids!

    and it's cuter ^_^

  • @JAMESGHOST I 100% agree with you. Normally I think Mario and Peach make the PERFECT video game couple, but I think Toon Link and Toon Zelda make the CUTEST video game couple.

  • This is probably my favourite ending because it's slightly funny when zelda hears the sound of link getting hurt.

I got the dunno ending because I got pissed off at the cutscense(after like my 6th time trying to get past the second part) and just skipped the cutscenes.

I'd say the engineer one fits most with the game though. Link wanted to drive a train and her has a lisence for it so why wouldn't he.

  • The only thing I found irritating about this game was that it took too long to travel from one place to another, even with the portals. And the portals were usualy out of the way. Other than that, it was a great game, worthy of the zelda name.

  • So what ending do you get when you said you dont know what you want to do?

  • The engineer end seems the most fitting end to the game imo. I like how you hear the horn of whatever train set you are using :D

  • I didn't actually hear the sword clinging in the end when I played it on the DSi, I had my audio down so I thought she just looked outside and went back to doing papers! I was like ''WTF? WHAT JUST HAPPEND?!?'' >.>

  • depends if you chose,

    warrior

    engineer

    or dunno

when zelda asks you what you want to be when after malludus dies.

    you probably chose dunno

  • Yeah, I just recently played it more and did all of the endings, she asks you before the part where you walk across the train to possesed zelda, though I like the alternate endings because most nintendo games only have 1 ending.

  • Trains are big part of Japan. No doubt eventually Miyamoto would make a game about trains.

  • This is definitely the best (and cutest) ending of the three. This game should've been game of the year for DS 2009

  • Why some people don't like the train idea and hate the game? I have to admit, the train is slow, but, the game is awesome! it's harder than Phantom Hourglass (<--- I liked it too, but it was too easy)

  • is link ok when he gets pwnd in end?

  • you can get your engineers outfit back from niko if you collect 15 stamps

  • Do you get to go back and play on you beaten file?

I hate having to make new files on a perfectly fine one. -_-"

  • After you beat the game you go back to where you last saved.

  • @UltimateGiratina what if u chosse dunno what hapeens they pobbly mske out

  • No Zelda just sees link at the window. I tried it today.

  • they should make a modern zelda game.

i wanna see link use a gun XD

  • @megalink909 They probably wouldn't have link use a gun since the game is for people of all ages..o_o

  • @TheDarkDragi excep twilight princess was probably the first zelda game rated T

  • And killing things with a bow and arrow is somehow more humane than killing them with a gun?

I think that, as long as Hyrule evolves, more technology should be introduced... Maybe only if the baddies have guns, even? I can imagine them having muskets and things.

  • @JackKuchiki

wow you want more technology and you dont want the game to be awesome like the original i dont want to see zelda in the next 20-30 years and watch him running around tacticaly nuking ganon and boom headshoting moblins with a 50.cal even though that seems funny i want to have the ol sword n shield with the dungeons to get new items in i think that when they added the train that even went a lil overboard i hope that the next game no technology will be in it most would be clocktowers

  • @Rad376

No no! I don't want THAT kind of technology!! Just slight evolution.

You didn't like the train??? Woah, I think trains would be brilliant in a wii Zelda. Imagine, a huge castle town, bustling with people, and a train running through the center?

Zelda should definitely stay away from modern days, but I think that the development of Hyrule would add a lot more charm.

  • @rad376 actually...trains are old fashioned.....there just not exactly as medieval as horses. so i can see what your saying. still, it is pretty cool you have to admit. and plus.....some people used to call train the "iron horses"

  • @OmegaKitsune

i understand what youre telling me but it would kill the series if they went any further than trains its like hmm what does the engine look like i dont want it to be all technological if its run by magic i can see that cause most zelda games involve magic see if its is all tech in the train you could just turn some of that into a weapon and thats all you need to ruin the game...modern day stuff kills the series is what im sayin

  • thats true....i guess theyll either learn by trial and error, or just make stuff run by magic.

  • @OmegaKitsune

yeah just like that but not like world of warcraft or somethin you got what i was sayin :3

  • yeah if they go any further than like 18 th century trains it will ruin the game completely

    I agree

p.s this game was very good but i still felt weird about link on the train

  • @rad376 I agree, consitering that this is suppost to be a medievil world. I wasn't too keen of the train idea, but they make it work. However thats as far as I want to see on technological devolopment.

  • same here. i almost didnt even consider playing this one at first, because of the train, but when i tried it, it actually worked fairly well.

  • i picked dunno

  • I beat the Game Yesterday I thought it was Cute when they held hands and when they huged after Zelda got her body back
