It doesn't even show the virtual line when you do a crop. So you have no idea what is the dimensions when you are cropping.

You can not hide a layer when saving, you must delete it if you don't want it in your saved image.

It's not a " browser" application. This is an adobe air application that happens to have a browser plugin. A browser application would be build using web standards such as html5 and javascript.

MS paint? I was talking about Painter from Corel. GIMP, GIMP, GIMP! It's advance features aren't hidden, they are right in the open, also GIMP does has taps and animation can be done with it. With sumo, I can't even find how to change it's DPI/PPI, which I don't think is possible. If you want to do real graphic work, use GIMP. If you want to play around, draw and doodle, Sumo is fun to use. GIMP=production, SUMO= fun!

You're probably right. I do agree it's bad that GIMP hides all its tools in the menus, where you have to go explore by yourself. It does lack documentation in some areas, but hey, it's pretty amazing for one guy =P

Also, for some of the filters, you even have to experiment with them rather than "use" them.
