@Alyssa4975 Colic is a totally different roll. In colic, the horse is wide awake and obviously in pain, and it can be pretty violent. This video just shows a very relaxed, sleepy, comfortable horse.

Like us when we have upset tummys we look ready to die plus we switch how we are to be more comfy when we lay. My horse coliced first time ever that I have seen after our one month trial had been decided success after our rocky start and omg I was balling my eyes out think crud i killed my horse cuz he is a greedy pig and he didnt want his food. I knew he was colicing

@Alyssa4975 I've seen a horse colicing and it's way worse than this. the mare is sleeping. When they colic they get up, roll, get up, roll and stare at thier stomachs and sometimes grunt and thier stomach will feel hard. Then evetually they stay down and you have to force them up.

Can i say thank you for opening my eyes to PMU? I had no idea that the industry even existed, and now I know. I don't care what the animal they do not deserve that horrid disgusting treatment. It makes me very happy for your girl that she was saved rather than sent to a feed lot to be fattened for slaughter. Thank god you saved her.

aaaawww! I love her little nicker! She is a happy mare and feeling it! Just to let you know, I have just gone thru cancer treatments for anal cancer and menopause. When I was given my hormone prescription it was a premarin that was written. I was NOT a happy camper! I gave my doctors, nurses, and pharmisist an education on what premarium is and how it is made. It was crazy they didn't know! All were surprised and shocked. So, it WILL NOT be recommend by any of them again.

@Naessly PMU stands for Pregnant Mare Urine. It is used to make premarin--a menopause drug. They give the mares as little water as possible, sometimes barely enough to keep them alive, and they are kept in tiny tie stalls until they give birth, and then the babies are usually sent to slaughter. It's awful.
