There were depleted uranium tipped rounds every 5th round also incendiary rounds every 5th round. 1 uranium, 2 steel jacketed then 1 incendiary was the usual order when I worked on them. Check that clip he referenced at 0:36 shows a near perfect gun run. watch?v=OXg6J9upaCg shows it well. Rockets would be only on a different pass if needed, not at the same time, or by a wing man. Almost always were in flights of 2 or more(even numbers)

A normal array of rounds in the A-10's ammunition well, 1 depleted uranium round, next 2 steel jacketed rounds and then 1 incendiary round. But you aren't the only one who thinks that there were explosive rounds. Most of the sparking you see in that video is actually impact sparks. And thank you I hadn't seen that particular clip. Shows a near perfect gun run. I used to work on these 1980-1984 in USAFE.
