Check out C. J. Sansoms books Dissolution, Dark Fire, Sovereign and Ravelation. They follow Matthew Shardlake who is a lawyer come detectinve who solves crimes for Thomas Cromwell and Arch Bishop Crammner. He carves his way trhough 1530's england and is caught up in the turbulent polotics of the time and stuff. I could go on but............trust me read them.
I used this with 3 mixed ability year 8 classes and it was fine- some pick out teh basics, others get more detailed information- its self-differentiating! They just need to be told to watch carefully
Are you a teacher? If so, how would you get classes to access this much info this quickly? I ask as none of the groups I've used this with have ever had a problem with the pace of the video - and I tend to only use it with lower ability groups.
Yes I am a teacher and I would love to use this but it is toooooo fast. Sorry if that upsets you as I haven't even got a clue how to make a vid. I could not use it with any of my groups - sorry. Remember we all teach different 'kids'; I know mine and I am sure you know yours. Have a nice day.
As noted above, this is used with low attaining pupils. Indeed, I've used it this week with 4 groups in a school where attainment is in the bottom 20% nationally and no pupils at all failed to get 7 reasons.... guess it must be down to the way its introduced.
wtf is this

Not useful for lessons at all; much too fast. Good idea if had been much slower.
