Oh, before you question my experience. I managed a large pet store for almost four years in my early twenties. I now work animal husbandry with one of the top zoos in the country. I have also worked with dolphin rehabilitation. ALSO, I have owned two pitt bulls and a shar pei. I trained all of my dogs and resulted with the most well mannerd, loving dogs. My dogs were around kids, other dogs and small animals. Never showed aggression. I am getting a bull terrier next week.

I have never seen an aggressive bull terrier. However.... It is up to a responsible owner to train any bully breed well. Bully breeds are stubborn and without proper training, one will end up with an uncontrollable dog.

my bull terrier got kicked in the face by a horse and it riped its side of and it didnt cry or get nocked out it got back up and tried to fight it but i called him back so ther ether hard as nails or just thick as fuck hhahahalol ....

I love the terriers! Have two Jacks at home and will be getting a MBT very soon. Great basic info, but they really should add Primary Lens Luxation as another health concern in the standard and mini bull terrier's breed information. This can be such a devastating health problem that usually doesn't occur until the dog is a couple of years old, and the blindness can come on very quickly with very little warning, and once the symptoms make themselves known, the damage has already occurred. FYI :)
I have Bull Terrier. Really it's not one of the most beautiful dogs, but this dog is perfect combination if you seek: Small size but strong dog that not use much space, а dog that is able to protect you and your home, dog that will be not dangerous for kids.

With Bull Terrier u will not recieve compliments ''Oh, what a beautiful dog'' but if u need brave dog that can be with you whatever happen - it will be not mistake if you have one.
Helppppp! My bullterrier goes NUTS at the vets coz he can smell other dogs. Hes goin in for a vaccination saturday n i dnt no what im gna do! Doggy treats dnt work he just ignores them! Its embarrassing but he was so hard to train in comparison to other dogs iv owned.
let me get some facts right i have 3 bull-terriers they love kids when they get past the age of 4 the become lazy, they chew allot including sofas when you get a puppy get a deafness check if you bought a white boy (one of my dogs had 2 litters and both of the white boys were deaf) if your puppy is very energetic keep it entertained or they will turn nasty (i had to put my puppy down because she kept biting people) hope this helps.xx

@OfficerIdk he was a rescue he was a fighter he was always agressive, but we didn't think he would bite and we did keep him for about a week after he bit me but he was very agressive at this time no-one could really touch him because he was so agressive so he couldn't of gotten retrain him trust me we all loved him so much and we hated putting him down, but, at least we we're safe ...
I have one and he is insane :') He drives you up the wall, but when he has his moments of good behaviour (i.e. not hucklebutting, biting onto your clothes or stealing items from the bin) it really shows :') Funnily enough he's a nightmare around us, but an absolute sweetheart around children and the elderly.

Ive owned German Sheperds my entire life, 8 years ago I picked up a bull terrier puppy named maverick. It was the best idea I've ever had. I love my buddy more then anything and he's a remarkable dog. Loyal and great with people. A huge head turner as well. except mine is around 70lbs and more around 26-28 inches.

A dog is like a person; there are good and there are bad and it depends on their life experiences that make them either one.

@XxPepperAndRosebudxX Because a dog bites you (and he doesn't do this normally) you put him down? He could of been trying attention or wanted to play with you. I hate people who put down dogs for a stupid reason.

@OfficerIdk he was a rescue he was a fighter he was always agressive, but we didn't think he would bite and we did keep him for about a week after he bit me but he was very agressive at this time no-one could really touch him because he was so agressive so he couldn't of gotten retrain him trust me we all loved him so much and we hated putting him down, but, at least we we're safe ...

I have one and he is insane :') He drives you up the wall, but when he has his moments of good behaviour (i.e. not hucklebutting, biting onto your clothes or stealing items from the bin) it really shows :') Funnily enough he's a nightmare around us, but an absolute sweetheart around children and the elderly.

@thesimguy1905 Bull terriers have that in their nature. Or the owners might be treating it really badly. I've had three bull terriers and they have been the best dogs ever. Always happy and friendly around people. And I don't think they should be banned. To many people love them, like me.

Ive owned German Sheperds my entire life, 8 years ago I picked up a bull terrier puppy named maverick. It was the best idea I've ever had. I love my buddy more then anything and he's a remarkable dog. Loyal and great with people. A huge head turner as well. except mine is around 70lbs and more around 26-28 inches.

They grow up and are way stronger than a pitbull, the adorable puppy that never grows up isn't what you're calling them when they eat through a steel link fence to go play in the neighbors pool or flip your couch over with you on it tearing after ball lol. And their daily farts can put a skunk to shame, they are 100% worth it if you can handle one though.

They're not charismatic or smart.They are stupid,dangerous,and maniacs,that's why they should be completelly banned.There are MANY occasions where people were killed/attacked for ABSOLUTELY NO reason.I know even dog trainers who say these dogs have a bad temperament...Seriously,they shouldn't let people buy these dogs.And don't start saying "i own one,it's fine",these are very rare occasions that don't prove any safety to other people.

@thesimguy1905 Have you even been around this breed? If you have im sorry that you had such horrible experiences with them, and it is a shame that you saw the few dogs that may act that way for one reason or another. it is true that any breed can be dangerous, heck a Yorkie can be as aggressive as any other breed, but it is not right to say every dog of that breed is. A dog is like a person; there are good and there are bad and it depends on their life experiences that make them either one.

@MissStoneys Well yes,my 7 year old cousin could be dead because of a bull terrier for no reason.And there are many other occasions of no reason attacking,even to their OWNERS.As i said before,even DOG TRAINERS say these dogs are dangerous and should be banned.A dog is PARTLY like a person.Raising plays a role,but every breed has it's own characteristics,which might turn out to be bad for other people or dogs.That happens with these dogs.According a to study its the most likely to attack breed.

I am very sorry for your cousin, and i hope they will get better. Obviously the dog must have had something wrong with it physically or mentally to lash out so horribly and itll be put down. But while its true a dog's breed comes into factor and some dogs are more in touch with their feral side, it isnt the majority of each breed.

@thesimguy1905 That's not normal behavior for a EBT they can be aggressive to other dogs but when it comes to children there's no better dog you could ask for they've earned the nickname nannydog overseas, I learned to walk by pulling myself up by one's mouth, you've got your breeds mixed up. I'd like you to link this study because I've never heard of them even being included in an aggression study. Unless your a tennis ball or squirrel the worst you have to worry about is doggy kissses
