  • lovely tribute and wonderful choice of music!

  • This is very nice. Thanks!

  • of course his greatest work was on stage and even silent films.

but my favorite movie? The Great Man Votes.

  • What a hunk!

  • I just adore this man. Thank you.

  • Wonderful!!!Thank you very much!

  • Wonderful! Thank you! He was amazing!

  • Thank you for the wonderful pics of the greatest actor ever!! Everytime I see Drew, I see her grandad...fire, character, humor and gracefulness..what a lovely tribute to a man who was flawed, yet still remains respectable to this day for us big time fans...

  • Thank you for this fabulous tribute to unarguably the greatest actor who ever lived. Barrymore was the stage name that the three siblings took from their father, their real last name was Blythe. I was especially interested in his hand and shoe prints in the cement outside of Grauman's theater. Such tiny hands and feet. I do remember the time I visited Grauman's and put my hands and feet in his, what a thrill that was! Thank you again!

  • I love John Barrymore.

  • John & his monkey,"Clementine",01:13-01:22 on

the set of "The Sea Beast"...

  • I'm so glad to see tributes to this great actor -- who was also a very unaffected and likeable person, described by director George Cukor as "a lovely, sweet guy". I hope someone posts his riveting, tearful farewell to life -- a 30-second excerpt of the "To Be or Not to Be" soliloquy embedded within his last and worst movie "Playmates".

  • uh,i love him...one of the greats...

  • I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please check out my latest one on some top 1930's movie star legends on trading cards. They include: John Barrymore, Mae West, Marlene Dietrich, Maurice Chevalier, Gary Cooper, Buster Keaton, Clark Gable, Lilian Harvey, Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford ....

  • Terrific collection of pictures. Thank you.

  • John Barrymore was the Johnny Depp of the 1920s!

  • And Christopher Plummer was the John Barrymore of the 1960s.
