I live in Norway, my mother tough is urdu but it's not that good that I can understand Ghalib. Please tell me the meaning of this ghazal in simpel Words...

wonder who'd live till you've unveiled u'r beauty.
My love is patient, my desires ardent,
wonder what is the apt state for my heart before it perishes.

Till you get to know of it(my pain, my love), i might be long gone.
The grief that personifies my existence has no cure,
A candle finds it completion only by burning till the dawn breaks."

Ghalib was undoubtedly the greatest urdu poet. khaq ho jayenge hum... wah kya baat hai.

hum nay mana kay taghaful na karo gay laikin
khak ho jaen gay hum tum ko khabar honey tak
wah kia bat hai kalam ki or kalam parhnay walay ki.classic
