This film is a remake of Tamil film Pammal K Sambandham that had Kamal Hassan and Simran in the lead roles. PKS is a slapstick comedy that runs on comedy of errors. But the director made it loud and silly comedy in Hindi version. The episodes of Askshay falling in love with Kareena and vice versa appear clichéd and out of place. The comedy in the film is so loud that there are so many swear words like bitch and bastard uttered multiple times.
