Hey buddy you left out something important. I have samsung tv lcd an motorola Droid X. My HDMI wasn't hooking up. I you didn't mention you have a small HDMI in the corner screen you have to press on the cell phone to get it to connect to the TV.

No, you cannot use this to play videos from YouTube. Only videos that are saved to your phone.. You can download a YouTube video, transfer it to your phone, then watch it on your TV, though.
