Mormons are nice, being one it's my sole belief to be nice to others and convert them so that they too can spread the love and piece that the religion brings. The Mormon church's official name is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints", not the church of joseph smith. They do not worship Joseph, but worship Jesus and Heavenly father. Just very thankful for the sacrifices Joseph made for the church, including being beaten many times, having several children die, and being killed for it. You don't have to agree with it, but have some respect.

But one time I was at a friends house staying the night. I woke up in the middle of the night in the living room, around 3 am. I woke up in a feeling of fear and suspicion, so I laid still for a little. Then I kind of turned my head to look around. I saw a figure sitting in a recliner; a dark figure and the eyes were open and it was just sitting there. It was a very creepy thing. I don't have any mental problems.
@oscarmarin1995 well you were at your friends so it is possible waking in a haze and it taking a second to realize your surroundings giving you the primal instinct of fear and paranoia. 3 am so i shall assume you saw a dark figure in a dark room. many possibilities shadows, eyes adjusting to various light sources , still dreaming, half a sleep and so on

Mormons are nice, being one it's my sole belief to be nice to others and convert them so that they too can spread the love and piece that the religion brings. I believe the book of Mormon and the bible are true and I'm not hurting anyone, so why attack us? God wants us to respect and love others. The definition of a Christian is believing that Jesus died for our sins while we were still sinners, and by His grace and love we are saved! It's not through our works! Salvation has nothing to do with joseph smith or the BOM.

The Mormon church's official name is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints", not the church of joseph smith. They do not worship Joseph, but worship Jesus and Heavenly father. Just very thankful for the sacrifices Joseph made for the church, including being beaten many times, having several children die, and being killed for it. You don't have to agree with it, but have some respect.

@oscarmarin1995 because it is not logical, i feel as a people it was created by us before we knew a lot about the world hence the part where they say the earth is flat, as an easy answer to things and a comfort from the fact we all diealso things like noahs arch, virgin birth exc are obvious impossibilities not to mention the passages aboutslavery and genocide in the bible and how it is viewed as ok and the human species long list of various gods at various times in our history.

@unholychunk Well... the Bible doesn't say the earth is flat. And I see it as the truth, not just an easy way out of problems and feelings of comfort. Slavery was an est. institution back in the ancient world yes... but it was different from more modern slavery I think. It was for people that had no other way of life. The destruction is explainable..

@oscarmarin1995 in the bible it states earth as a circle which is 2d, aka flat the word should be sphere if meant as 3d, it doesn;t matter if slavery was deemed ok in peoples eyes back then. in the bible god says it is ok to beat them as long as they do not die within 3 days for they are thy owners money, exactly the same as slavery just 100 years ago or however long ago. yes there is morality but one does not get morality from religion.

@unholychunk I guess slavery wasn't always an option back then. God gave laws though to treat them right and I'm sure beatings were rare and if they happened maybe for reason. Don't think they were overworked. They got food, home, family, safety, YHWH, etc... Over working and beating slaves isn't loving another as self. So racist slavery in early America and other places were wrong and still are wrong

YHWH allows all sin to happen because we have free will. Neglecting someone food is the same as lying or hating someone... It's all evil. Telling a lie is just as evil as raping someone, except the laws of this country will punish rape. They're both evil things though.

What about Israel? They fulfilled a prophecy when they rose again around 1948 I think it was. No one expected it and they're taking back their old territory. The one world government is another prophecy that will come true. You'll probably call me crazy for believing that though.

@oscarmarin1995 eyes can be tricked. i have seen shadows or figures at the side of my eyes but then determined light,shadows the cause for my eyes tobe tricked, with just by light is really easy to do, exorcism is not a demon or devil exc. it is someone with a mental illness and voices actual literal voices, then it was an hallucination

But one time I was at a friends house staying the night. I woke up in the middle of the night in the living room, around 3 am. I woke up in a feeling of fear and suspicion, so I laid still for a little. Then I kind of turned my head to look around. I saw a figure sitting in a recliner; a dark figure and the eyes were open and it was just sitting there. It was a very creepy thing. I don't have any mental problems.

@oscarmarin1995 well you were at your friends so it is possible waking in a haze and it taking a second to realize your surroundings giving you the primal instinct of fear and paranoia. 3 am so i shall assume you saw a dark figure in a dark room. many possibilities shadows, eyes adjusting to various light sources , still dreaming, half a sleep and so on

@unholychunk Well I don't remember shadows or any lights. I could have been half asleep when I awoke. But I was awake probably like 5-10 minutes? I think. It looked very real too. It was kind of vague though.
Oh I just remembered this!... Well, this time I was at home... I was asleep... My grandma was on the bed below me. (I had a bunk bed, about 5 years ago I think.) Anyways my grandma woke up to go to the bathroom and she noticed that my bed was shaking A LOT. Like someone was
