  • Why pick on such a flawless beautiful movie?

Is this what future film makers do in class?

No wonder the film industry stinks.

    Pathetic.

  • Feliz Cumpleaños Frank Capra...gracias

  • i hate you for this you need to die

  • I sing about Capra, Stewart, and others in The Celebrity Song.

  • im impress by how you put this together. good job!

  • This is my all time favorite movie, but this is the first time I've seen this clip. This is brilliant. I think the reason that so many of us love this movie is the fact that George is a real person who just like any of us could be driven to madness, suicide or quite possibly worse. I love the movie even more after seeing your version. Kudos!

  • I love the film, but I am also a horror fan as well. Great job. Very Creepy, Job well done, just goes to show even the nicest people can have two sides. Madame Dementia

  • You're a moron.

  • This is one of my all time favorite films - It was strange watching this this recut (I'd never seen a recut ) but after watching this a few times . . . . It's very impressive. I think one must see the original to appreciate how clever you really are.

  • very well done!

  • This short clip shows Stewarts incredible range of acting skill. If ever an actor should have gotten the Oscar it was him for this performance.

  • It's an interesting propaganda-like take on George's cynicism. It was Potter and family circumstances that drove him to it. But culling all these scenes together, it isn't lost on an average viewer that it was a pretty grim film if you remove some of the cute scenes with Ernie and Bert singing or the gym pool opening up. It is a about a man teetering on the edge because all his devotion to the underdog was for nothing and he felt abandoned. We all feel that sometimes and it's sad. Faith baby!

  • too long, and use voice over and real movie clip audio. also, make it more specific as to why george is "Bad", or why he is "coming to get you"

  • I have seen several films recut to seem like horror films on You Tube, but this has got to be one of the best!

  • a bad joke, always someone trying to see evil side of things.

  • I completly agree with you, and for those who hasn't seen this great movie, here is a link to watch it online:

  • Brilliant !

  • Very funny! You did a great job editing and matching scenes to music. Some people need to lighten up though, because this is a joke and it just so happens to be a very good one.

  • LOL!!! WOW! awesome work you did on this.

  • Wow.. thats a movie i wanna see! Still its hard to see Jimmy Stewart as anything but a nice guy.. but, Kudos!

  • That is hilarious. Never looked at james stewart from that angle. That was put together in a sinister way.

  • Interesting concept. Well-executed.

  • That was brilliant.

  • What an amazing job... I think this shows just how important both the musical score and editing is to capturing the mood and story line of a movie. Naturally I think most of us prefer seeing Jimmy as "Good Bailey" as in the original, but this is fascinating cut - you've got some great production skills!

  • UN BEL VIDEO!

  • I'm sorry, you can utilize all the technical wizardry at your command, but Jimmy Stewart will forever be Not Scary.

  • someone early on said this cut doesn't do the real movie justice.??? that's the point - it's a take-off on the angry aspect of Bailey's personality. wow - there are some extremely dumb people out there.

  • umm ok

  • this was spooky....clever good job!!

  • I dont get the point of this rather dumb edit. It really takes away the real story of the movie. Any youngster watching this would think it was a Hitchcock type deal'. It is in fact a heart warming and inspiring movie. Sorry r you have not done a true classic any justice whatsoever. I think your a bit mixed up

  • I aqgree you they made it look like a spooky movie...far from it. I would say to the editor of this to get a life.

  • It's supposed to be a joke~like haha~I think it was funny and i love the movie, dont take things so seriously

  • Yep, it was most certainly a joke people, as was "Scary Mary" which it was based off of.

  • What about make the same fun edition using the recently colorized version?

  • When the movie came out we were teen agers and it was just another Christmas movie We went to see it and there was nothing great about it However as time went by a 'new look' was given by the new movie goers and the rest was/is history I suppose we are all George Bailys as we say "I got to get out of here no matter what the sitution is as we all say it or said it at one time or another

Yes it was 60 years ago when I first saw the movie and I STILL LOVE IT

  • thats cool.

  • And I can already think of a few audio excerpts from the movie that didn't have music that could have been creatively reinterpreted for the montages. This may have inspired me to edit my own Bad Bailey trailer...maybe I'll call it Crazy George...or Mad Christmas. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm a big fan of It's a Wonderful Life, as well as reimagined trailers like the famous ones for Big and Office Space. The Bad Elf one is pretty fun too.

  • Do it! Post it as a video response. I'd love to see it.

  • There were a few montages I would have reordered, like having George kick the car door shut would have been a first scene of agression with the cop and gun scene being last. I would have shown more of George facing the camera at the end.

  • Well done and original overall, but it could have been cut tighter, with the words given less time. If you can slowly read it out, then slow readers have had time enough to read it. In a perfect world, having the prayers from the beginning of the movie (sans original music) cut into the end of this faux trailer would have been terrific.

  • Thanks, good advice.

  • Well done or not (and you do have a talent for this) it's just wrong.

  • It does kind of insult the film. But it's very professionally done. made me chuckle.

Frank Capra would turn in his grave LOL. He was about as un-horror as director/producers get.

This does show what an amzing actor Stewart was.

  • If you think about it, Mr. Potter represented the Jew. They couldn't use a --berg name of course, but the analogy was clear.

  • I can't believe you did this to this film!

It just goes against the grain!!

  • That part at the end with George's close-up and the "He's coming to get you" made me jump! Gives me shivers!

  • l love this man and l love this movie. james stewart is a good man. and good example for human.

  • BRILLIANT!

    STUNNING!

i love original movie - i have seen all js movies - this one i know by heart

you did a great job !!!!!!!!!! 2 funny

  • myfavorite movie of all time. Thanks

  • I liked it. You did a great job.

  • the original movie is great.the other side of the movie is also great.good work, do it again!

  • As someone who thinks this movie is far darker than most people realise, not at all the "shmaltsy" Christmas film ..you've done a great great version 10 stars

  • good one.

  • a really great reworking. you should do this with other movies!

  • for the record: not sbecky commenting.

i did not like this remake what so ever. it wasnt clever enough to hide the fact that you cut up and redid an outstanding film.

  • Oh my God, it's a side of George Bailey I have never seen. He must be insane, or something.

  • what an amzing film( so mum says)

  • Show de bola. 'A felicidade não se compra' é um filme fascinante, porque mostra um 'what if'. Quem já não se perguntou 'o que aconteceria se eu não existisse'?

  • Wow. Now that was cool. Truly. It's nice to see talent.

  • I hesitated before watching this as it's my all time favourite film, but my God it's well done. Congratulations.

  • Best video on youtube.

  • You scared the $#!+ out of me when it said "he's coming for you" and then his face pops up and looks at you! 5 stars! ^_^

  • Ha ha! Very good! I've always loved the Village's music, as well as this movie. Excellent collage. :)

  • I digg it. Well done.

  • Great job! This movie is perfect for this. A lot of scenes with great facial expressions.

  • Wow, that was damn good. It's amasing how music can totally set the mood of something. Ver well done.

  • LOL.
