I can't say I care for much of the music from the early 90s. This was the era of grunge that was a genre that stood out on it's own. So much so that it was all overplayed to death. However there were still some lasting gems from that era, this song is one of them.
@EyesHaveMiles420 Oh they did, did they? Ha!. That is awesome of Radio 104.5 Phila considering that they usually play the lamest possible pop-punk and indie rock.
@PedroAidaRVA I was so shocked when I found out he passed away back then. He had posted on his website at the time about being sick and all that, then the next thing I knew he had passed... I have all his solo works. Met him a couple of times as School of Fish passed through on their tours. I saw them a couple of times on the first tour, and once on the second...never saw Josh solo though... lost him way too soon.
Well, first off Joynthis, thank you for calling me a kid, second I'm NOT into pop music in the least, so I don't consider Gloria Estefan, Marky Mark & C&C Music Factory geniuses, don't care for their music at all, but if you do that's great..everyone has a right to their opinion. And for the record I can't stand this little Bieber dude, nor the attraction, his music is crap. Again, everyone has a right to their opinion, so go forth; be happy & enjoy whatever you like
When I first heard this I was like, I know this song but it's a different song, then I remembered Alice Said by The Screaming Trees and they definitely sound alike. Apparently both were released in 1991, I'm going to assume its a coincidence and love both songs because of how awesome they are.
Very Cool Band, too bad on the news lead singer passed. My band "Conflict Theory" opened for them at the Cactus Club in San Jose during the peak of this song. Good bunch of guys, incredible night, placed was rocking. MannyD

Dude, WTF I simply cannot believed this popped in my fuckin head!!!My god...there WAS sumpin' kuhl about the 90's, besides Collective Soul. AND YES I AM 43 years old.
My dog and I once walked out my front door and kept going for 2 strange days. We ended up 30 plus miles and 3 towns away. Someone was nice enough to lend me their phone so I could call my friend to come pick us up.
Love It!! This band is fucking awesome, specially this CD! Never ever saw any vid's b4, EVER!! Thx! And...RIP Chris...everytime I hear them I think of you my love :)
School of Fish were awesome, Josh was a great talent; a real tragedy. If you get a chance to hear Spirit Touches Ground do, it's a fine farewell for Josh. Human Cannonball is one of my all time fav albums though, fantastic every track.
i've always wondered what drugs he's talking about doing. the first time i heard this, it was old even then ('05) i was all fucked up at that time on meth and it kinda described how i lived. DON'T BOTHER TALKING SHIT BECAUSE I DON'T CARE

I remember listening to this song back in the 90's without knowing who they were, and thinking to myself: "This guys are good..." I believe they didn't get the recognition they deserved. Thanks for the video.
When I was in Pearl Harbor from 1991-1993 this was always are beach party song! I will miss the guys I was with and the atmosphere they provided with song and James Loves Jezebel!
@redaeredoc I still cannot believe he is gone. Such talent; such a really nice guy and so damn fast. God must have needed a very special angel in a massive way and Josh was that special angel.

Thanks for sharing man. Truly an underated classic...
I played a cover of this song during a "rock hall" concert in high school back in '92. This is a great song and I was completely bummed when I lost the cassette single during one of many moves during my college years. Gotta love youtube for letting people connect.
Love this tune.... and cant find Drop of Water anywhere!!! Ace tunes. Sad to hear Josh left us.... but at least he left us an awesome legacy to enjoy! RIP man.
I heard this song today during the "Four O' Clock Flashback" on my local Edge station, and I had to search for it. I have never even heard of this band before. What the hell? These guys are awesome, and that riff at the beginning of the song is fucking epic. I'm going to send this song to all of my friends.
This song was one of the best PreAlternative hits of its time. It did not take a scientist to figure out what he was singing about, but no attention was ever paid to the lyrical content. You know what? I'm going to Dizznee Land.
One of four dead singers I would resurrect if I had the chance. the other two being Shannon Hoon (Which would be amazing), Lane Staley (because he was way better than the new Alice in Chains, which now sounds like nickleback/shine down/whatever), and Kurt Cobain.
@NaTaSBlood i hate when you fagots consider your opinion as a fact or at least state your sentiences like that. your a closed minded asshole, go fuck yourself and die. from the bottom of my heart.
@opti95 yeah I don't know what "sentiences" means. I suppose you meant sentences? maybe. But hey.. ever want to come over and I can gouge out you eye and skull fuck you? At least I won't have to worry about getting your grey matter on my dick as it seems you don't have enough to fill up that head of yours apparently. maybe you need to get some spell check if you misspell simple words in every comment when you try to insult. it's sad
This song gets better and better as it gets louder and louder.. like a Nugent song.

I played a cover of this song during a "rock hall" concert in high school back in '92. This is a great song and I was completely bummed when I lost the cassette single during one of many moves during my college years. Gotta love youtube for letting people connect.

@ApollonianKing That song was by Dada though...which is one of my favorite bands...I think they're coming out with a new cd this year...

One of four dead singers I would resurrect if I had the chance. the other two being Shannon Hoon (Which would be amazing), Lane Staley (because he was way better than the new Alice in Chains, which now sounds like nickleback/shine down/whatever), and Kurt Cobain.

@Chuthuluku
How about John Lennon?
macro16 1 year ago
@macro16 I'm more of a McCartney guy myself, but Lennon was pretty nifty shifty too, so yeh.

@Chuthuluku Kurt was alot of things... a singer is not one of them. What about mercury instead?

@NaTaSBlood I just like Nirvana...
If I could raise him back from the dead around 1992, yes, but most of the musicians on my lists were pretty young or just starting out or both

@NaTaSBlood i hate when you fagots consider your opinion as a fact or at least state your sentiences like that. your a closed minded asshole, go fuck yourself and die. from the bottom of my heart.
opti95 1 year ago
@opti95 yeah I don't know what "sentiences" means. I suppose you meant sentences? maybe. But hey.. ever want to come over and I can gouge out you eye and skull fuck you? At least I won't have to worry about getting your grey matter on my dick as it seems you don't have enough to fill up that head of yours apparently. maybe you need to get some spell check if you misspell simple words in every comment when you try to insult. it's sad

@NaTaSBlood i do not care if you dissaprove of my mistakes, i still think you are an idiot. and you get my point.
