  • This song gets better and better as it gets louder and louder.. like a Nugent song.

  • I can't say I care for much of the music from the early 90s. This was the era of grunge that was a genre that stood out on it's own. So much so that it was all overplayed to death. However there were still some lasting gems from that era, this song is one of them.

  • If you haven't heard SOF's debut album, you should...one of the greatest albums of the 90's...

  • Love this music...Time AND Era!!....There will never be an Era like this!!

  • Great song. Think I have a different edit. Drum bit missing near the beginning. Who knows? I'm just walking 'round the city, waiting to come to.

  • miss you Josh Clayton-Felt. A sweet man and a rockin dude.

  • I totally forgot about this song until yesterday, when Radio 104.5 in Philadelphia surprisingly played it. It was a pleasant surprise.

  • @EyesHaveMiles420 Oh they did, did they? Ha!. That is awesome of Radio 104.5 Phila considering that they usually play the lamest possible pop-punk and indie rock.

  • @LaLaGrunge Yup. I was a bit surprised myself. Every once in a while though, they will play something unexpected. PS- I like your "LaLaGrunge" name.

  • Shrooms anyone???

  • @RockRayne57 Shrooms don't last 3 days. Peyote.

  • RIP Josh Clayton Felt. Died of choriocarcinoma 12 years ago at 32. Dude only had a month from when he was diagnosed to when he passed.

  • @PedroAidaRVA That's a shame. RIP.

  • @PedroAidaRVA I was so shocked when I found out he passed away back then. He had posted on his website at the time about being sick and all that, then the next thing I knew he had passed... I have all his solo works. Met him a couple of times as School of Fish passed through on their tours. I saw them a couple of times on the first tour, and once on the second...never saw Josh solo though... lost him way too soon.

  • i found this looking for strange days by The Doors, and this is awesome!

  • Simulated Woodgrain. Sweeeet.

  • reminds me of starting my second life in a new town

  • @grikney that's what im on the verge of. wish me luck!!

  • Soo good.

  • this video doesn't make sense high or sober

  • tight, trippy song

  • Well, first off Joynthis, thank you for calling me a kid, second I'm NOT into pop music in the least, so I don't consider Gloria Estefan, Marky Mark & C&C Music Factory geniuses, don't care for their music at all, but if you do that's great..everyone has a right to their opinion. And for the record I can't stand this little Bieber dude, nor the attraction, his music is crap. Again, everyone has a right to their opinion, so go forth; be happy & enjoy whatever you like

  • When I first heard this I was like, I know this song but it's a different song, then I remembered Alice Said by The Screaming Trees and they definitely sound alike. Apparently both were released in 1991, I'm going to assume its a coincidence and love both songs because of how awesome they are.

  • Got some chills...That means its awesome!!! memories ride along with the song Yeah!!

  • Very Cool Band, too bad on the news lead singer passed. My band "Conflict Theory" opened for them at the Cactus Club in San Jose during the peak of this song. Good bunch of guys, incredible night, placed was rocking. MannyD

  • Forgotten classic. Great song.

  • reminds me of southern california beaches, arcade, pizza, ninja turtles, sega genesis and Saturday morning cartoons.

  • R.I. P. Josh?

  • @manysons The lead singer is dead; he died of cancer in 2000. :(

  • What's with the orange lipstick?

  • Dude, WTF I simply cannot believed this popped in my fuckin head!!!My god...there WAS sumpin' kuhl about the 90's, besides Collective Soul. AND YES I AM 43 years old.

  • i think chuthuluku just summed it up,no talent its that simple.soulless garbage

  • My dog and I once walked out my front door and kept going for 2 strange days. We ended up 30 plus miles and 3 towns away. Someone was nice enough to lend me their phone so I could call my friend to come pick us up.

  • This came out before the (instead of the Decline of Western Civilization) The Decline of Western Music

  • These guys would've been a lot better if they would've done a bunch of drugs.

  • @Schnepf2 No doubt these guys did at least 1 million drugs, probably even more.

  • totally just heard this on klbj... and fell in love with the song

  • didn't Prince write this song?

  • Three strange days; one kick ass song.

  • simulated wood grain =)

  • I like when I remember hearing a song and can actually find it.

  • THUMBS UP IF V E V O SUCKS SHIT !!!!!!!!!!!

  • I literally forgot about this song after almost three strange decades.

  • this song is about a guy who loses his job and doesn't know what to do.

  • cannot believe I forgot about this song! it used to be one of my favorite songs

  • Love It!! This band is fucking awesome, specially this CD! Never ever saw any vid's b4, EVER!! Thx! And...RIP Chris...everytime I hear them I think of you my love :)

  • Kanye West is unmitigated garbage...

    this band is awesome

  • One of the best songs ever. Period. It's simple, doesn't piss anyone off, and isn't confusing. Plus you can dance to it. ;-)

  • Josh Clayton R.I.P

  • For 3 strange days I listened t2o this song.

  • School of Fish were awesome, Josh was a great talent; a real tragedy. If you get a chance to hear Spirit Touches Ground do, it's a fine farewell for Josh. Human Cannonball is one of my all time fav albums though, fantastic every track.

  • AMEN@aMUSdRockrBabe!!!!! I totally agree....

  • one of the most impressive guitar efforts IMHO during these days

  • GREAT BAND

  • miss ya JOSH - u rocked the world

  • These guys were bad ass. Too bad they never kept the thing rollin!

  • for the longest time i thought this was filter singing this song

  • i've always wondered what drugs he's talking about doing. the first time i heard this, it was old even then ('05) i was all fucked up at that time on meth and it kinda described how i lived. DON'T BOTHER TALKING SHIT BECAUSE I DON'T CARE

  • @lilvance1228

Likewise buddy. Between this song and Janes Addictions 3 days.

    Amen

    And fuck that nasty drug

  • I love this song, but WTF? Lipstick on these fuckers? Not only are they all acting like weird freaks in the video, but I nominate them for ugliest band of the 90s. :X And fuck all your self righteous replies, I ignore them :)

  • This is one of the coolest songs of all time !!!!

  • Another good one hit wonder!

  • fuck vevo

  • I remember the first time i heard this one. I was driving semi over the road, and it was just a good song to drive to,and still is!!!!!

  • does anyone know songs similar to this that they can share with me?

  • @TheEbhagzzz janes addiction-just because.

  • @TheEbhagzzz this whole album was pretty great. A few you'd fast forward over, but all great

  • Gotta love youtube. Stumbled on this song and just love it. I am old school rocker check out my channel and see if you enjoy any of the old school stuff on there.

  • This song and Josh will be remembered always by me and just FYI, the CD is awesome!

  • Great tune!!! I remember when I used to hear this great song on the radio I used to turn it up to the max and about damn near blow the speakers!! RIP Josh, you are missed!

  • I love this song, this CD so much. I still cannot over Josh Clayton being deceased. This fucking world is cruel. Takes the good people and leaves shitheads around for a lifetime...makes not fucking sense.

  • Song is about kicking dope.

  • One of my favorite 80's tunes.. thanks for posting.. what is it with these damn commercials..

but in the mean time.. TURN IT UP...

  • Fucking right! I had this shit on my walkman

  • I remember listening to this song back in the 90's without knowing who they were, and thinking to myself: "This guys are good..." I believe they didn't get the recognition they deserved. Thanks for the video.

  • A must for Earth's video collection.

  • does anyone even notice Sean Lennon?

  • @Kryannon is that really sean lennon?

  • @Kryannon That isn't Sean Lennon. Look at the year. He's too small and doesn't even look like him.

  • is it REALLY necessary to have to watch a fucking commercial before the video? This is BULLSHIT.

  • @Gladiamdammit I didn't have a commercial pop up. Sucks to be you. :P

  • LOVE thses guys, found out about them in Atlanta....amazing CD all songs rock.

  • Who is Johhny Glutis????

  • @unisomerzzz It's Johnny Clueless....mean some joe blow that comes along and doesn't know shit...it's sarcasm. Hope that helps.

  • In blessed memory of Josh Clayton Felt, Jan 19 2000, eleven years ago today. You will always be remembered.

  • @redaeredoc I still cannot believe he is gone. Such talent; such a really nice guy and so damn fast. God must have needed a very special angel in a massive way and Josh was that special angel.

  • 0:01

  • I REMEMBER PAINTING ALL NIGHT IN THE ART BUILDING LISTENING TO THIS CD. (I WAS AN ART MAJOR IN COLLEGE). I JUST HEARD THIS SONG ON THE RADIO TODAY AND LOOKED THEM UP ON YOUTUBE. I READ A LOT OF COMMENTS AND WAS SHOCKED TO LEARN OF JOSH'S TRAGIC DEATH. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE HE'S BURIED? DOESN'T HE SOUND LIKE ROBIN ZANDER FROM CHEAP TRICK?

  • @ROCKINARTIST84 you should get Josh's solo work... he produced a few cd's... Some nice songs.

  • @thebatman101069 HI, I JUST LOVED JOSH'S SONGS WITH SCHOOL OF FISH, AND DECIDED TO TAKE YOU UP ON THE OFFER AND PURCHASE A FEW OF HIS CD'S OFF OF EBAY. I HAVEN'T RECEIVED THEM YET, BUT I'M SURE I WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW THAT HE DID SOLO WORK!

  • I recall 3 strange days on LSD where i walked around the city and waited to come to. Had to be the early 90's.

  • anyone see the connection made between this and catcher in the rye?

holden caulfeild ( or however you spell that) spent three days not trying to freak the hell out drinking and roaming new york city. even the kid in the video has to be about his age

  • "Trees" Dallas Texas LIKE 1992-1993 the band took a break to Win a pool game with me the price one beer. What a forgotten night.

  • Awww! All these people look like BABIES to me now! I'm soooooooooooo old, lol!

  • This reminds me of freshman year. Josh will be missed, this whole album is awesome, I've never stopped listening to it.

  • This is an awesome pop song! it reminds me of being back in high school when I first heard it.The song is simple, catchy and feels good. I get the same sort of feeling of after listening to Lily Allen's tune called " The Fear".

  • i would have loved to see this live. josh has one of the best voices ever.

  • @zeroair4 I saw these guys back in 1992 at The Paradise in Boston. No one was there 'cept me,my friend and the roadcrew but they played like the house was packed and they were awesome! One of the best shows I've ever been to.

  • this is funny..

  • This band was good & one of very few early 90's college rock songs from an artist that just didn't make it big.

  • i think i loooooost myself, when i lost my motivation...this songs rad

  • I found this cd in a resale shop with a box of misc stuff about 8 years ago. Not knowing the genre of music or anything I bought it on a whim for 50 cents and fell in love all the way home. I love it when stuff works out that way! Good music....

  • Why is it the lyric hounds say the lyrics are not what I hear here!!!!

  • Been thinking about this song for years still love it.

  • simulated wood grain>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • Good song to trip to!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mags1923 ...I've got to make it through....No matter what it takes.....( brings tears to my eyes) This song captured such a poignant time in my life. :)

  • @mags1923 You, too?!

  • God I love the singer's voice.

  • Chui - you have the gift of understanding. All that you proffered was cool.

  • This song has been tattooed on my heart for many years...I didn't know he died....dang.

  • ohhhhhhhhh mannnnnnnnn!! I sooooooo loved this song...... still do! ;-)

  • Love his voice ! BADASS SONG ! Miss the 90's ! RIP JOSH !

  • This song has a very special place in my heart........one of the most memorable three days of my life....and we played this song that whole weekend.

  • heard this song on comcast been way too long

  • Wow, I didn't know that and sad after the fact....I am sorry tinybuddy. This song was an anthem bet. a friend and me a long time ago but , this song rings true. RIP

  • This whole album rocked. It was sort of a concept peace, or seemed so to me. But the whole album was just tight as hell. Still one of my all time faves! Crisp, clean, hard with an edge, driving beats and for a change from the norm for so many bands, interesting non-cliched lyrics!

Thanks for sharing man. Truly an underated classic...

  • I played a cover of this song during a "rock hall" concert in high school back in '92. This is a great song and I was completely bummed when I lost the cassette single during one of many moves during my college years. Gotta love youtube for letting people connect.

  • 3 strange days is a song that is extreamly catchie and well written. It containes all of the components needed to make it a perfect har rock classic.

  • Saw these guys at Rockafellas in the 90's, sad to hear Josh passed away

  • Love this tune.... and cant find Drop of Water anywhere!!! Ace tunes. Sad to hear Josh left us.... but at least he left us an awesome legacy to enjoy! RIP man.

  • school of fish was one of the bands that influenced me when i was a kid in Singapore...great music....n 20 years later i m still playin in my band...

  • Really like how he's looking through the window pane there. ;-)

  • I heard this song today during the "Four O' Clock Flashback" on my local Edge station, and I had to search for it. I have never even heard of this band before. What the hell? These guys are awesome, and that riff at the beginning of the song is fucking epic. I'm going to send this song to all of my friends.

  • rip josh clayton felt

  • @Di0genesus now you got people justin beiber taking over. wth happened to our music

  • i'm so in love with this band!

  • This song was one of the best PreAlternative hits of its time. It did not take a scientist to figure out what he was singing about, but no attention was ever paid to the lyrical content. You know what? I'm going to Dizznee Land.

  • @ApollonianKing That song was by Dada though...which is one of my favorite bands...I think they're coming out with a new cd this year...

  • One of four dead singers I would resurrect if I had the chance. the other two being Shannon Hoon (Which would be amazing), Lane Staley (because he was way better than the new Alice in Chains, which now sounds like nickleback/shine down/whatever), and Kurt Cobain.

  • @Chuthuluku

    How about John Lennon?

  • @macro16 I'm more of a McCartney guy myself, but Lennon was pretty nifty shifty too, so yeh.

  • @Chuthuluku Kurt was alot of things... a singer is not one of them. What about mercury instead?

  • @NaTaSBlood I just like Nirvana...

If I could raise him back from the dead around 1992, yes, but most of the musicians on my lists were pretty young or just starting out or both

  • @NaTaSBlood kurt cobain wasnt a siger?! lol?!

  • @opti95 No... he just wasn't a great singer.

  • @NaTaSBlood i hate when you fagots consider your opinion as a fact or at least state your sentiences like that. your a closed minded asshole, go fuck yourself and die. from the bottom of my heart.

  • @opti95 yeah I don't know what "sentiences" means. I suppose you meant sentences? maybe. But hey.. ever want to come over and I can gouge out you eye and skull fuck you? At least I won't have to worry about getting your grey matter on my dick as it seems you don't have enough to fill up that head of yours apparently. maybe you need to get some spell check if you misspell simple words in every comment when you try to insult. it's sad

  • @NaTaSBlood i do not care if you dissaprove of my mistakes, i still think you are an idiot. and you get my point.

  • @Chuthuluku damn met him at a club in the 90's he is dead??????????
