Mike McGinn Destroys Voter Trust, Rationale for Own Candidacy

If you wonder why Joe Mallahan lost, this video is just another reason why. Mike Mcginn questions the issues, and even if he changed his stance on an issue do to the Seattle City Council recklessly approving a measure before a new mayor is elected, goes to show that he is for real.

The City Council should have never approved this measure until a new mayor was elected to begin with, and hopefully all of those that are currently in office find themselves out of a job come next election time.

Mallahan is a one-issue candidate with no real position on anything. He's flipflopped this entire race on essentially every issue!

It was great to see Mike come out and outline his duty to uphold and execute the agreement made by the city. Shows he understands how the process works unlike Mallahan who can't even pick up a pen to vote in 13 elections.

McGinn examines facts & makes good decisions. Joe changes his opinion, based on the last big endorser or donator's opinion: Mallahan was against the streetcar, then for it. Against mess, then for it. Against light rail, but for it. Against arts, then for it.

Dear McGinn trolls, your candidate just revealed that he's been lying to you about his ability and intention to oppose replacing the viaduct.

Why would you support him after that?  That was his WHOLE CAMPAIGN! Please I.D. for me policy differences between Mike McGinn and Joe Mallahan now that McGinn has discarded the tunnel issue.

Mallahan has proved his ability to build coalitions with his campaign and has actual executive experience.

Mallahan has missed 13 elections, is almost $100,000 in the hole and has released contradictory policy statements for his entire campaign. First he was against the mercer solution, then for it. Against a voter-approved streetcar line, then for it. Against funding arts councils, then for it.

His only position has been "I'm not McGinn". Yeah, classic.

mike still opposes the tunnel and unlike joe, he hasn't been bought and sold by the pro-tunnel forces. if i-1033 passes and our budgets go into a tailspin, i'd rather have someone in the mayor's office who isn't wed to this boondoggle than one who is.
