I was just watching Kare Kano as a friend recommended it to me (said it was an interesting psychological anime) and near the end of the third episode while soichiro was explaining to Yukino why he ignored her, he said "you were a light that shone on my darkness". This shocked me quite a bit because i realized i had heard it before somwhere. I listened to Darkness once more and confirmed that the sample at the begging is from the dubbed version of Kare Kano, I mean what was the chance?
