I find it disheartening that the Shout Factory DVDs use the instrumental to this song as a replacement for nearly EVERY SINGLE piece of background singing in the episodes.
Even Captain N! First season, anyway...@_@ *facepalm*
Sorry, but I cannot provide one. You can always convert this YouTube video into an MP3 file if you want to (there are many services which do this online). :-)
No. There was an episode (Kootie Pie Rocks) featuring Milli Vanilli and a couple of their songs ('Blame it on the Rain' and 'Girl You Know It's True') were used. However, in later television showings and on most DVD releases, an instrumental version of Mega Move is used instead due to licensing issues.
Many popular songs at the time was used for the series, but they have all been replaced by an instrumental version of this.
Different versions of the series has been released. Indeed, some of the earlier ones removed the songs and certain references because of the lip-syncing. However, the Shout! DVD release as well as some recent TV showings removed every licensed song. In this case, the lip-syncing is not the issue, rather the licensing problems.
There's a really long instrumental version in the episode "The Most Dangerous Game Master" of Captain N: The Game Master. Or around the 2:30 mark of ?v=l_UBTpH6plk
Yup. I believe the episode was called "The Feud of Faxanadu" or something like that. Though it only had the first verse and chorus, IIRC. I think its constant appearance in various episodes of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Captain N: The Game Master, itself annoy some people, though.
I prefer the instrumental version.

Do you know who sings it.
vaatithewindmage 2 years ago
At a guess, it's probably someone from DIC's internal sound department.

@Leontendo I read on some of the official sites it was because Milli Vanilli were lip-syncing
