I suppose you don't have to know a language to recognize attitude. I was watching a non-subtitled Russian film with a friend of mine,and she would ask me what transpired in any given scene. Giving my version of events based on body language, tone of voice and facial expressions, she would several times during those two hours cry out: "You lie! You know Russian!!"
