An amazing song. Not only is the melody and composition itsels hauntingly beautiful (the horns in the background constantly send shivers down my spine), but the lyrics are so powerful and touching, especially when you're a Dane. It's actually humbling to find out how heroic your own countrymen were back in the day. :-)

MY religious school teacher played this for us in class, and then we played it at a Yom Hashoah service our class led. I really like this song now.
