  • 5 stars! Fantastic!!!

  • Thank you. I will send you the duet version. Enjoy.

  • Hey, very good! you have good style

  • Thank you for the kind words.

  • i love it. Did Clapton also do it on a dobro?

  • Thank you. That is a good question. It has been a long time since I've listened to the original, but I would guess, no. I've seen Eric being accompanied by a Dobro player, but never playing one. I wonder why? Robert Johnson never played one if you judge by his recordings. Maybe that's it. Please go to my page and click on Playlists. In the group titled Duets, you can listen to Bill and me playing this song together. Thanks again.

  • He plays a dobro on his unplugged album actually.

  • Thank you for the information.

  • hey man, i was looking at your myspace, and we live in the same area :O and thanks for keeping the blues alive!!

  • Thank you Matt. I checked out your youtube page. You are sounding good!

  • Thank you for your comment.

  • great song and performance!

i'm trying to learn this one..i think i got the main riff quite ok, but i'm a bit confused about the chords while you're singin, could you tell me what you play?

    thanks a lot!

  • Thank you. This is a standard 12 bar blues progession in 4/4 time. G/C/G/G/C/C/G/G/D/C/G/G The fill licks are on bars 3&4, 7&8, 11&12.

  • That was beautiful. Great guitar work and the National Steel is the best for acoustic Blues. Johnny Winter said "I love the National Steel. It sounds like a garbage can with strings!"

  • Thank you. I have to agree with you and Johnny. The raw sound of a National is perfect for playing them early rural Blues.

  • man ill try bottleneck guitar sumtim. I just need to find wt to use a a bottl thing

  • Search around the old house. You'll find something. Enjoy.

  • ur in open G right?

  • Yes. If you look to the right of my videos, you will see the description contins all the information. Just click on (more).

  • It's cats like you who inspire the handful of my generation to try and keep the blues alive. Thanks man. You have a great voice.

  • Thank you. I played guitar a long time before I felt confident enough to sing. Blues, just like Gospel, is really all about the vocals. They tell the story, the guitar adds color.

  • Lol, Hold it in and grow a tumor. You hit the nail right on the head man. The blues can cure a soul which can cure the body yo

  • There is a vid on youtube where the blues master, Son House "preaches the blues". He wants people to know what the real blues is all about.

  • they say you can only play blues if you have bad times,,,,,hope things pick up for you soon,,,,,Tom

  • I've seen some hard times. Not as bad as Blind Willie Johnson. Now, that man lived the blues. It is better to let it out in song, than hold it in, and grow a tumor.

  • man you are awesome.

  • Thank you.

  • Powerful playing and singing!!!

  • Thanks again.

  • Thank you. Life is good!

  • Man you got it all, a god given talent, a warm place to sleep and a damn good dog. That's all you need!

  • Thank you. I got me a mojo hand....

  • keep that mojo workin!!regards bluespower...
