and the Misfits affirms MM was a great actress.
The final scene is memorable

In this movie Marilyn Monroe revelead all his talent as an dramatic actress ,reciting almost in an another dimension.She seems detached, as if to escape from a reality too unjust.The face is absent, almost lunar,really sad and melancholic.

miller killed her with this movie. the only question is how much money the studio gave him under the table to betray her.
he wrote a character she despised. a collage of tabloid smears for her to bring to life with some taste and the truth a good actor has to give - an impossible task since it not only meant he never loved her, but that he sold her out.
mccarthy blacklisted him - couldn't work. the answer to his problem was use marilyn. would've lived if she'd dropped out of TM.

The cast itself was made up of misfits.This is a great film.If you want to see the essence of a most beautiful woman,Marilyn Monroe, This film captures it. 5 *****

Clark Gable's best role wasn't Gay it was Rhett ...but this is the best movie of marilyn she was so beautiful

i've never seen this film but it looks like some of marilyn's best work.
