so i can use firewood to make electricity? That means i can move to a remote location where land is cheap. Use well water. grow food. And have no job. Quit giving money to stores, insurance, banks, polititians employers, oil companies and all those other people that just want a piece. So tecnology means that insted of man strugeling against man we can struggle with nature. Technology makes that eisier. We did it at a mass scale and screwed it all up. Mabey if we apply it to the individual.
@jamescurrycounty The blower ( usesd as a vaccum ) stays on only while lighting. The engine draft provides plenty of air flow as long as the filters stay unclogged. The basic FEMA unit makes a lot of tar. Refined units like the GEK are much cleaner but this was a good learning tool.
@th19940305 It run on the gases make when heating wood, hydrogen and carbon monoxide, in a open fire you can see these gasses being burned its the flame :)

One question, do you leave on the blower while the engine is running or is their enough suction from the engine to shut off the blower motor?
