  • Honestly don't understand where the 7 dislikes came from.

  • Black folks don't want nobody talking bout they america. They love massa and don't want to remember nothing about theys history of slavery. ol nigga slave mentallity minded folks

  • Im Haitian, my descendants defeated the white devils. Defeated France, Spain, and Poland, slaughtered their Soldiers and Civilians on our land and expelled them. The only independence day I celebrate is Haitian Independence Day -1804

  • White America could never survive a day of slavery

  • American slave? You're about 146 years too late, bro.

And while we're on the subject, I am not a fan of President Fillmore's involvement with Japan. That will just lead to trouble in the future.

  • The Mafaa of the African people is ongoing, 400 years and 100's of millions of dead and counting, no reparations or independence yet. the holocaust lasted for 12 years, 6 million claimed dead, they were given a homeland, and they are still receiving reparations. do the math.

  • Slavery was a CURSE!! sent from God to Blacks and Hispanics of Indian and Negro descent. According to Deuteronomy 28:15-68.

  • @YahnBenIsrael at least that's how white people re wrote it to justify what they were doing

  • @NICCAGE26 Expound on what you mean. It sounds like your saying the White man wrote? Because thats incorrect. Correct me if I'm wrong.

  • King James was a white man who re wrote the Bible in 1611 right before slavery started in america, do you actually think the creator of the universe came out the sky and wrote a book, the bible is just a book of stories that tells how God work and it say's don't take every word literally, but of course white men want to use it to justify barbaric behavior.

  • @NICCAGE26 That's so WRONG. King James Did not write the bible. King James had 42 scholars who were expert in Greek and Hebrew language and divided them into 6 groups. Read the Zondervan Bible Dictionary under Bible translations. That's a common misconception in the world today. The creator did not come and write the Bible he had different prophets publish the writings; Ezekiel, Daniel,Jeremiah,Matthew. These are the authors. Read 2Peters 1:20-21. Stop giving so much credit to the white man.

  • @YahnBenIsrael i said he re wrote it to fit into the white man plan, the original Bible will never be read again, it's lost.

  • @NICCAGE26 That's wrong too. What your saying is what many people believe and there is no proof. Like I stated read Zondervan bible Dictionary. It tells you how the translation came about. He had scholars to translate. Stop giving credit to the white man. The Bible is a historical record of what happened, happening, will happen; to so-called Negros and Latinos

  • @YahnBenIsrael how am i giving white people credit i said they told and wrote lies to fulfill their evil plans.

  • Paying excessive taxes is slavery ... no freedom in America!

  • is this the entire speech? i thought it was like 14 pages long

  • We have the same history here, in Venezuela, was abolish pretty quicker tho, mainly because mixes with spanishs, africans and Indians, so the sons(mestizos) were recognized as Venezuelans. (50% portuguese here)

  • The speech is brilliant, the images chosen were ridiculous and hateful to a group that had nothing to do with these crimes. History is not to hold a grudge but keep the bad from happening again.

  • Frederick Douglass died in 1895, you guys need to remember that when you're watching this video. The Holocaust hadn't happened. That being said, the point wasn't to say that black slavery was the grossest atrocity, but was that celebrating freedom in a country founded on and still thriving on slavery was the greatest hyprocrisy in history.

  • so...he was grouping every american into that description, which is untrue... it is doing the very thing he is denouncing... its all grandstanding bullshit.

  • Sounds like Guam history minus our issues....

  • FYI Slavery is still here. The monetary prison is the most ingenious prison divised by man. ZeitgestMovementDotCom =)

  • Slavery - 400 years of abuses and lynching of a people (1492. Spanish, Portuguese, British, Dutch, French)

Holocaust - 6 years of equally horrible abuses and killings under the Nazi's

    Both were atrocities. But..

    1. how can you compare 6 years to 400 years.

    2. even after slavery ended blacks were still being lynched and persecuted until the 1960's. On top of 400 years there was still 100 more years of brutality and hypocrisy.

Some who used to lynch are still alive.

  • @juncasantiago holocaust planned, slavery was instant

  • @krucialred26 Both the holocaust and slavery were planned. There was nothing "instant" about either one. Those who bought and sold slaves were making well thought out economic plans. They planned to brainwash Africans and their descendants to think they were inferior. They also planned to do it for as long as they possibly could while convincing the poor whites who couldn't afford slaves that slavery was a necessary institution to keep the economy going. Both were planned.

  • @juncasantiago You have the facts that mean something from neutral standpoint, but you fail to interpret the truth and meaning of that somewhat rhetorical statement. That is the Holocaust has no place in the top most horrible world disasters in comparison to all that has happened to colored ppl of the earth alone! Not to mention it was gig that still is prospering and yes both events were used as propaganda for something else. Has anyone taken out the time to realize Palestine is apart of Afr

  • In response to the comments. I live in a in an predominately Latin-American barrio. Fireworks have been going off for 2 weeks now, tonight was the grand finale of a fireworks show that out shines the Rose Bowl. But these folks aren't celebrating the liberty of independence anymore that of whites folks getting drunk and eating tacos in the various bars across the LA on Cinco De Mayo; a day which celebrates the victory of a battle. Go figure!!

  • @ Semisweetone, you should read his entire speech, not just what was selected for this video. He addresses a lot of key points you're probably thinking about. Remember, he delivered this speech in 1852, on America's 76th birthday, when slavery was still common practice and the demand for free labor (though not really free since it cost money to capture, ship, deliver and train) was at an all-time high.

  • People actually go to school now to learn how to hate America. God help us all. Why is the fact that the black race was first sold out by their fellow African slave traders for money not mentioned. Ignorance, hatred and stupidity know no racial, religious or national boundaries.

I am for one, pretty damn sick of USA bashing. If you hate it here so much leave! You won't be missed.

  • @Semisweetone We are not bashing the USA. We are talking about a historical event. Freedom of speech is part of democracy. We are exercising our right to dialog on important issues. If you really believe in the ideals of America then you would welcome this conversation. Schools do not teach anyone to hate this country. Universities make an effort to give the youth of America a chance to think for themselves.

Its not our fault that you have a different opinion about the history or the present.

  • Deep...

  • I don't suppose the speaker has heard of the holocaust or thought about the reason this country was founded in the first place.. I don't believe the exodus was a walk in the park either.. Slavery "Throught History" obeyed NO color lines ,, So lets dont start any racial lines now..

  • Yes this Nation had slaves, but all nation had slaves it's not a race or national matter.

Slavery is a stain all cultures had OR STILL HAVE. but America grows to help stop it.

  • @KissMeKris1110 little prats.....who are these prats that you speak of....

  • @KissMeKris1110 That’s what white people keep saying. ^ It’s not black history or Native American. We all made American history. You can’t celebrate the good without acknowledge the bad. Without the dad we would not be here. The question what was it to a slave. I can’t imagine any slave jumping for joy with his mater, for his freedom from Britain knowing he still remained a slave. The day meant nothing to them, just like Columbus Day to Native Americans

  • I love this-this is honesty....truth. This cannot be put or explained better in any other way! Deep...

  • @Karamel2233 I TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!
