  • A vision so fully realized at such an early age! Where did Scorsese get this??? What where his influences???

  • @duckman531 There's a lot of Italian influence there, unsurprisingly perhaps - and Fellini's 8 and a Half is paid direct homage at the end...

  • 1:13 is similar other scenes in later films. The movement of the camera.

  • You can see Scorsese's style. The part love is like a Gazzelle at 8:05 , the cameras conveys a sense that you are viewing the doors open from your own perspective. Its like if you were the camera. Its awesome. You can see this in Scorses later films such as Goodfellas when the couple is found dead in the Cadillac and the scene where Ray Liota and Lorraine Bracco enter the club through the back entrance.
