awww soo happy that ur daughter is ok when it said on the video " and we had to say goodbye to our baby" i was about to cry but then i kept watching and saw that she was a strong little one soo happy shes ok:) <3
Wat an amazing story. I'm really happy 4 u guyz n little Sadie. Miricles always happen at CMS. I got a new kidney in just one year! It's a long story.
Hope y'all live happily ever after and Sadie stays happy n healthy.
thats alot to share to the world.. and unlike other people you mention the people who saved her so many times.. what a great likeness.. well we all know your gonna have your happy, funny, weird, sad moments.. i hope that they all end up happy or funny :)
What a beautiful - sad, but touching - story. You have a precious, little darling there and I am so glad that your faith saw you through it all and that you are now blessed with this little sweetheart.
i speak english not well, because i from Norway but you have beautiful family. your video is inspiration i keep you and family in my prayers. God bless you all.:)).
i am so sorry about what i said, i had no clue, my dad passed away 3 days ago and i have been upset and lashing out on everyone, i feel so bad, you are a great mom keep up the good work :)
wow. I'm so incredibly happy for you both. Sadie is beautiful, and i'm so immensly grateful that everything worked out in your favor. This truly is an amazing child, and an amazing story. God bless Sadie, you and your husband.
thank you so much. she is a perfectly healthy and happy one-year-old now! i have a lot of other videos of her if you'd like to see for yourself. The march of dimes is FANTASTIC! we did the march for babies this year and raised over $500!
thank you for the awesome story... my identical twin girls were born way early and underweight - 3 lbs and 4 lbs respectively, and the smaller one had to stay in the NICU for 8 weeks because of extreme case of neutropenia (low white blood cell count) as well as hypoglycemia. so i sort of know how you guys must've felt. now both my girls - almost 2 yrs old - are the most active and the loudest members of my family. anyway, belated congratulations!
Thank God your story has a happy ending. My identical twin boys spent a week in the NICU and it was the hardest time in my life saying goodbye to my baby boys every night. It was so hard leaving them. I cried myself to sleep every night!
Totally. I remember one night in particular I came home bawling and my son, 14 at the time, put on Chapelle's show to make me laugh and it did work! I am forever grateful to him for that. He said. , "mom you haven't laughed in so long!" My twins had wet lung and difficulty breathing as well. It was the scariest time in my life. Now they are 3 and healthy and happy and I thank God my story had a happy ending, too!
Lilikes baby sister is now sick with a bad chesty cough, stuffy nose noisy breathing and Lockes been sick for a while Ive taken both kids to 2 different doctors who say they are fine, that blood in the nose is normal etc etc.
They were very concerned about Lilikes high white cell count at birth. A band neutrophil of 70% with toxic changes. At 1st they thought she might have sepsis (blood infection)
my daughter was lucky she only remained on 23-28% blow by oxygen into a humidicrib on the afternoon/night of her birth (June 25th) until the morning of June 26th and then she was put into a normal cot. She never needed a vent, cpap or nasal cannula.
that's very good! our daughter had all the good stuff, nasal cannula, O2 hood, cpap, and was eventually vented. But, before we knew it, she started breathing over the vent and defied the odds!
shortly after birth when Lilike was looking around she had a little blueness around the top of her mouth and her hands and feet were blue but she was very pale. My daughter Lilike showed signs of fast breathing at 1 hour old. Slight skin pulling in under the ribs.
What a beautiful baby girl! Childrens Memorial is a great place for our babies. My 10 month old son will be having surgery for the 2nd time there for craniosynstosis. Hope all is well and good luck to you and your family!
thank you so much - and much love and prayers for your son and his condition. Children's truly is a wonderful place for our babies!! They are miracle workers!
thank you so much for your comments. all we ask is that next time you see a donation drive or something like that for the march of dimes - to just drop some change in the jar and help other babies! thank you so much!
Also from Scotland.God bless you always Sadie. You are real wee angel. Its been a priviledge to watch you in this video.A real honour. You are so beautiful.
Oh this came out so beautiful... so touching. I couldn't help but cry. ::sigh:: What an amazing story you have to tell, and you are only hitting the tip of the ice burg. Much love to you.
It hurts to see someone you love in the hospital suffering the nurses at St.Francis tried all they could to save my mom from breast cancer but it was to late.
I totally cried so hard when I watched this. It's so moving, and so beautiful. I hope it raises awareness for the MOD and helps to generate some revenue to save more babies like little Sadie. You guys are so strong. I am so proud of you.
thanks so much colleen - it really felt good for us to make and finish this video. we're going to walk next year in the march of dimes' annual fundraising event - march for babies. we're so excited to raise money for such a great cause!
♥ Sadie
