This album should have gone platinum. The only problem would have been that bands that popular become hellish to watch live. I firmly believe the world would have been a better place If Oingo Boingo's records at least went gold. Not counting Dead man's party which did go gold. I love Elfman's soundtracks But I think after Nightmare Before Xmas he should have started doing Boingo full time. Or maybe he quit Boingo Because he was losing his hearing and he just didn't make it public for a decade.
The only Boingo song that sounds remotely like the Nightmare Before Christmas is "No One Lives Forever." And even then, it's still got a firm foot in pop.
I'm even trying to buy all the Boingo Albums, but that is not so easy when not living in the US... Bah!

@Alegoo92 I disagree, I think Nasty Habits has a lot of elements of Elfman's theatrical work. Especially the break in the song.
