The reason this works I think is because as superglue dries it gives of a small amount of heat thus lots of superglue equals lots of heat equals fire

@Falloutlover55 to be accurate any liquid that undergoes a phase change into a solid will release energy in the form of heat, and will absorbe heat when changing from solid to liquid
