i like terri better n maybe i'm the only 1 but i liked linda she did sound good when she did neo queen serenity and princess serena sometimes she sounded good as serena other times yea her voice made u cringe but when linda screamed it was very comical 4 me lol just like i like the cwi voice 4 rini better than the dic voice that one just sounded bratty and obnoxious 4 me

tracey was good in the beginning as sailormoon was young and inexperienced but as character matured in the first season and began to realize the weight of he mission terri was better

From what I know Tracey was the Voice director for Sailor Moon's english dub and was only filling in as Serena until an actual voice for Sailor Moon/Serena was established

Tracey Moore is hands down the best voice for Sailor Moon. She had a great voice, and was a good actress. Terri Hawkes also had a good voice, but her acting wasn't always perfect. Now, Linda is the exact opposite. She had a horrible voice for the character, but I always thought that she was pretty good as an actress for what it was worth.

I think Tracey's voice sounded younger and more age-appropriate but I love the personality that Terri's voice had. She made Serena a very unique character.

@nicedude1211 Agreed! Linda actually sounds realistic..she sounds more of a 14-16 year old. People don't realize that Terri and Tracy sound so fake. I've never met someone with such a ditsy voice..

Ugh. I can't stand Linda's voice. I hate it. And I hate how when she took over, of Sailor Moon's voice, the show suddenly sounded like a terrible 70's sitcom. She made Serena sound like a drag queen, and her impression of Terri made her sound like a clown.

Tracey is perfect as Serena because while she sounds youthful and fun, she also is powerful, like Serena is meant to be.

i like the pitch and quality of tracey's voice but terri has more FEELING... like terri just sounds like she means business... it's more epic feeling... if u could get tracey to have the depth of emotion conveyed in the vocals it would be perfect.

I always went with Tracey because she has the sound of someone who is actually young and had a good voice. Terri was great but she would've sounded better in S and SuperS kind of like a 'Serena is getting older so her voice changes' I'm just removing Linda from all things because her SM voice just didn't fit at all. She sounded to old and at times it like sounded like Serena had a cold.

Tracey and Terry were both amazing voices for Serena though.

@KendoGurl I agree with that I prefered Terri any day, its a shame that Cloverway didn't wait for Terri or even try to get Tracey back. Poor Lynda though even though she was good in other roles as Serena it was awful.

@KendoGurl Well it kinda makes sense the way they did it with Tracey first then going over to Terri to make Sailor Moon sound more mature and confident in her abilities. Linda was just plain awful. Her voice made me cringe as it does not suit Sailor Moon at all. No offence to ppl who like her tho...it's just my opinion. They should have chosen Tracey and Terri as the only voice actresses for Sailor Moon.

I always wondered why her voice seemed to change every now and again through the episodes, but I never knew it was because the VA was changing back and forth....idk I like Tracey better I think, but it's a small difference

I don't know which one sounds better, they're both pretty good. Much better than the voice of Usagi/Sailor Moon in the S and Super S dubs (she sounded like an old lady trying to sound like a teen or a bad version of Jessie from Pokemon)

I vote for tracey becuase like everyone said she actually sounds like 14 year old girl. She also sounds really close to the original Japanesse VA which is always a big plus! I like Terri ok but over time she added to much for lack of a better word lets say her own "personality" to the role. I will say this Terri is so much better in my opionion Linda who replaced her in the S season hands down! I will always wish that we could have had Tracey for all the english dubbed episodes though!

@smercuryfangrl9 Though that is Terri's real voice so she probably sounded similar at that age...I like both tbh but I prefer Terri because I kinda felt at times at the beginning Amy, Serena and Molly sounded too similar because they had the same tone only with different accents. Only one I didn't like was Linda; She's a good actress but I didn't like the voice for Serena.

@PrincessKagayaki True, I didn't care for Linda's voice for Serena as well, it sounded like she was focusing too much on Serena's/Usagi's goofiness. But Terri sounded too old to play her Serena; she sounded 18 instead of 14, well, to me.
