@Imouchet You are absolutely correct, many healing traditions have similar techniques.The interesting part of this particular video to me as a 35+ year healer in the Powwow tradition is that the healing tradition was brought to our area of the Carolinas by immigrants from the German Palatine region near the Swiss border.

In the U.S. this has become what is known as the Powwow tradition. It has many of the same techniques.
