lucky for you guys where i live i mostly get the worser storms at night and i dont get to see them well or i sleep through it i like to see the clouds move through and the wind starts then the rain last both
I was there from the Washington Dc area visiting my mom in the hospital and I had stepped out for a while. Was sitting on Dodge St in bumper to bumper traffic when this thing blew in over my head. Shook the car violently, trees down all around, massive flooding, lots of hail, 0 visibility. I thought I was going to die for sure! Scariest day of my life (& ive been robbed at gunpoint if that puts it into perspective!!)
Wow that's intense! We got something like that that same year here in KC, only it was at night which makes it scarier because you can't really see anything!!
i live in omaha, but extreme northwest of omaha and we were lucky. our neighbors lost a few pieces of his siding, but otherwise we were safe. wow no wonder why omaha was blown apart! it just looks like one huge tornado!
