I don't fully understand the hybrid thing. When you look at the strip mining for nickel, and the shipping of that nickel to China to process, and then shipping again to make the fuel cell. All of those things actually make the hybrids less fuel efficient than a gas powered vehicle.

@Dashua28 Very true, and it is actually more efficient to drive a hummer for about a year than it is to make a battery for a prius. I love the idea of hybrids, they are definitely a step in the right direction, but they are not good for the environment yet....in fact quite the opposite.
