@Manonvoice Actually I'm not a fan of the "if you love John then you have to love Yoko too" thing but I agree with you. What's so wrong at two people being in love ... the haters should get a life really
And the fact of them losing their manager Brian Epstein. He was the father figure and the glue that kept them together. He was always there easing the tentions within the band and if he had lived long who knows how many more years The Beatles would have lasted.
The song is probably a reflection of the inner dynamics of the band at that point. Possibly, John didn't like it because he felt it was directed at him. Waltzing around the studio like that was a bit passive-aggressive.
Interesting story. John never actually ever participated in any performance of this song, whether it be here or the last recording session. When George wrote his autobiography, I ME MINE in 1980, John was never mentioned. In a sad but touching final tribute, George wrote and released All Those Years Ago. :-)
seriously...john and yoko making out...DIS-GUS-TING!!!...this song is awesome and it just annoys me that john looks like he thinks the song isn't beatle worthy..
stop fighting of why they broke up and just enjoy this AWESOME SONG anyways the only people that really knows the reason are the beatles and i dont think they wanna talk about it
Yoko was not the only reason The Beatles broke up! Do some research! John, Paul, George and Ringo all agreed it was not Yoko. They all began getting sick of the band. John once said "The Beatles were bastards." He said that a few years after they broke up. He did not really mean it but he still was sick of The Beatles.Yoko may have led John to get more sick of The Beatles over the years, but it would have happened anyways. Don't blame Yoko. George and Ringo were getting tired too because they...
George (R.I.P.) - the Great Underdog, my favourite Beatle.
As for what broke up The Beatles? Sure, Yoko contributed to it, but it was other stuff too - like John and Paul being talented egomaniacs (poor comment this if you want).
Whatever gave life to The Beatles took it away too - their legacy still lives on. It's a Black Swan theory...unexplainable...
@Feghoot Bullshit. John kept putting her in his sig, and George kept going, "I'm sick of seeing that bitch, and that's why I hide signatures." And then Paul and Ringo started putting eggs in their signature, and John moved on to the next anime girl.
John had been sick of the band since 1965, before he even met Yoko.
George stated in an interview that Yoko had nothing to do with the Beatles breaking up. In the anthology book, Paul and Ringo both said that Yoko had nothing to do with the Beatles breaking up. John also stated that he was going to completely give the band to Paul, and quit himself, if they hadn't broken up.
They all had wanted to leave by then. Tensions were rising between the group, anyways.
ringo's not depressed. he is just listening.

Why does everybody hates Yoko?
And says everybody eehww when you see John and Yoko kissing?
If you are a real beatle-fan you accept that john loved yoko!
