@WitchCraft129 It's second part of Gilda-Rigoletto's duet from first act. Its first words are: "Figlia/ Mio padre". Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901) is composer.
omigosh, aren't u coming on april 9 :P I am going then, anyways.
You go to the stage door after the show; there are signs from the lobby leading to it. You can also ask a security guard/usher where the stage door is.
lol I can't go the 9th unfortunately...I am going tomorrow lol R us sure that they will let us in for autographs?? I guess we will have to run after the show lol
No this producion is from the Staatskapelle opera in Dresden, Germany. It was broadcasted by the French/German arte channel which explains the French surtitles. It was a wonderful production, Damarau and Flores are just wonderful!
oh, how can there be so much talent in one single person!!!??? really, diana is a gift from god to men! we have his voice in hers! she is truly a godess!
Nooooooo! The best is Figlia! Mio padre! (well Vendetta tremenda vendetta is also good, I love that, but that duo is the best!) Also Caro nome, and Act III XDDDDD
YOU DON'T LIKE ZELJKO LUCIC!!!!!! He has a beautiful voice, I think...but I prefer Carlos Alvarez ;)
Vendetta it's great and passionate... It looks like der holle Rache in die Zauberflote. It's the aria that detects the character of Rigoletto... I think it's the central point of the opera. Rigoletto wants vendetta for her daughter and Gilda dies for her father's desire of revenge!!!
Bueno, si te refieres al punto en el que se revela el caracter de Rigoletto, en tal caso creo que el punto central de la opera seria Cortiggiani vil razza ;)
Coloraturafan go on like this... This Rigoletto is so wonderful!!!! Diana sings as an angel!!!! She's so great.... I think now her voice is ready to sing Traviata...
well, for me it's so wonderful to see her voice getting greater and greater day after day.... It's quite impossible to emprouve a perfect thing but Diana with her voice is doing miracles....
What a voice! What a control! Bravo Damrau! Just the best we have in opera today!

Yes they let you do that - you might have to wait like 30-40 minutes for Damrau to wash her makeup off, get dressed, etc.
Push ahead of the crazies.. watch out for old ladies stepping on your feet.
