  • contracted v.f. in 1989 in Riverside, Ca. Didn't know it for a good 10 years later. When I first got it it felt like continual flu/fever with a headache. Finally went to the doc over shortness of breath. The Xray showed "previous granulomatous disease."

  • I don't only have v.f., also, emphysema, and angina and arthritis!

I am 50. I just take it slo, use 2 vfend a day, ($3,000 p/mo), and wipe down my skin sores with colloidal silver solution @ 22p.p.m., 2x per day..........

I really stay in most of the time, no energy, butI am still alive, ans I actually played with my old band for a few hours in july 2009!

there are some vids of it on mt page......that's when I was down to 125 lbs, V.f. is NO JOKE! I hope you are feeling better! sal q

  • Fuck my friend is in the Hospital right now and they think he might have Valley Fever but all over the body. He's trying to fight through the infection but the lungs aren't producing enough O2 for his body to properly work. I'm prayin my best right now.

  • @donutboy8 where does your friend live? I am doing a study on v.f., I have had it for at least 5 yrs........

what hospital is he in? who are his dr's

I will help you prey for him/her.............

  • @hasbeengilbert He lives in Fresno Ca, just passed away 4 days ago. The only information doctors would tell us was that there wasn't enough oxygen producing from his lung to the rest of his organs. It's been a very sad week for me man. Sorry for the late reply man, its been hard. Although he was just my friend, he was also a big brother to me, but more to say a guiding light. He's in a community hospital and the main doctor went on vacation when they performed ECMO on him. Its been a trip man.

  • @donutboy8 I am so very sorry for the loss of your friend.

There is nothing worse than not being able to breathe, so he suffers no more.

Valley Fever has become very active in the San Juaqune valley, I imagine that is close to where he lived.

If I may ask a question, for my study, was he black, hispanic, or italian? this is important.

I hope you will feel better soon, I commend you for your care for a brother.

god bless, if you ever want to talk, I am here. may your friend rest in peace

  • @hasbeengilbert Sorry for late reply, been busy with funeral and stuff, but he's Asian. And I've heard that in some cases asians are very prone to the infection as well. And also what have you done to keep yourself going? Is it because of the better immune system that you have or have you undergone some type of chemo?

  • thanks for the informative video I hope it will help people understand that this stuff seriously can devastate your life.
