@mmdistheway2be What I can proudly say, is when I go looking at other cars whether it be a honda, or a chevy, or a studebaker, I dont put them down, especially to the owners face. Im too decent and respectful of a person to do so. Even if I despise the car, I can find the ability to appreciate what has been put into the car such as time, money, design, or all three. To answer some specific comments.. Cardboard and spraypaint??? Its a custom widebody that I built from my own design using sheetmetal. I used Sherwinn Williams paint and the paint has won awards at shows such as World of wheels in chicago. White guy doesnt know what clean is? Have you seen the 30" rims on cars built to have 15" rims. or the stick on plastic chrome vents placed all over fenders and such. No bueno!!!

Damn, this has been up for a while and I never knew it.. This is my car.. So as you can see im not ashamed, even after all the hate posts... truth is it was slow. It has a built LS/Vtec aka frankenstein, aka poor mans type r aka whatever. At the time it was slow because i built it with 8.5:1 compression. It had no turbo yet. Now it has a turbo and its fast enough for me. The body kit was built a long time ago. Closer to when body kits were "cool" Too this day, the car still turns heads.

Actually the B series swap was where the term "Frankenstein" engine came from. The original "Frankenstein" set up meant you had B18A or B18B or basically an LS block and put it with a DOHC VTEC head like- the B16A, B17A, or B18C. The principle is to use the larger displacement of the LS block (higher torque) and mate it with the high end power of VTEC. Now the K series for the newer Honda's are the new fad. So yea...the B series engines hold claim on Frankenstein.

Well actually ya'll are both right. This setup is called the poor man's type r, hence the type r motor is a B18 block with B16 head. But you right as far the principle goes with the larger displacement. The frankenstien setup would be something like a B20 (crv block) with a B16 head. Same goes for the k series motors k24 with the type s head. Just fyi ;)
