  • I think I speak for guitar players everywhere when I say... uh, what?

  • Gotta say - Indian instruments are damn scientific!!

  • she plays the same scale and i'm not learning anything expertvillage sucks!!!!

  • ut oh. college-radio-world-music-dj accent

  • That's not even a C#. It's a D at 435 Hz or so.

  • @oshidonimlop I was about to say that actually haha.

  • I needed this so bad. But what I now need more is some help changing the strings & getting it set up . CAN ANYONE HELP?

  • Hmmm, it's a bit late, but how do you need help? it's not that complicated if you just take you time and perhaps look up a guide, a guide to stringing a guitar may be helpful as well

  • Please explain why it "works better to tune to C#". I think you mean "this is the way it's always been done, so don't change it".

  • Hummm... You're right, but it's only recently that there's anything like a "standard pitch" in Indian Classical music. In the past, the instrumentalists yield to the vocalists and adjust accordingly, and that'll still happen in vocal performance.

  • All arund the world standard pitches were not available until quite recently. Beethoven and Mozart did not have their instruments tuned to 440 Hz.

  • You remind me of my english teacher.

  • ja ich glaub auch

  • i love how the string rings

  • Just listening to her play random notes is very stimulatings and relaxing

  • wow! thanks for the info :p

    I love this instrument.
