If she wants to leave with her husband and continue the way of life, then it is her decision on the understanding that if she chooses to leave, She may not change her mind and come back. When asked she should be seperated from her husband so she can make the decision without pressure of reprisal from her spouse. The children would be a sticky matter, they are minors under our laws.

The youngsters were talking to the guy and they were confrontational at first, He explained his view and they began to settle down. The guy's group was there the year before as well.

If this judge applied Sharia Law in this matter, what prompted him to do so? Why didn't the woman have her husband arrested...that is a question that needs an answer as well as why the judge was not brought up on ethics charges.

I believe he was arrested. That's why the case went to court and the judge had the opportunity to make this inane decision. The case was appealed to a higher court and the decision was reversed. The problem is the ignoramus-judge, who probably has not read his own job description recently, if ever.

We have out own laws and this couple was visiting from Moroco, if I remember correctly. They should have been subject to US law, much the same as that boy some years ago that was caught in Singapore or a country like vandalizing cars. The question came up as to whether he should be sentenced to caning which is the law of that country. He was caned.

Obama has placed more muslims in places of power (FBI< CIA, PENTEGON, ETC) since he has been in office than has ever been there since our country began.
Obama is a muslim. Don't think it is going to be easy to defeat his plan for America. We must defeat his plan for America at the ballot box. We need Godly men & women to govereign our Country & bring it back to a God fearing nation..

The Islamic invasion of America has been going on for many years. They are invading not because they like this country as it now exists but because they are following the dictates of the Koran which requires Muslims to conquer other countries.
If we allow ourselves to be conquered, Sharia Law will be the law of America. Sharia Law is the absence of freedom. Oklahoma, vote yes to State Question 755.

Now other countries are beginning to want to control immigration because the muslims immigrating into the host countries want to destroy them and impose their sharia laws and customs instead of adapting to their new host country. We should start controlling immigration of muslims as well. They are not here to become Americans, they are here so Americans become muslims!

I cannot believe that there is even a vote about whether American law should be followed, which is basically what this is about.
Rape will be legal in USA, as will murder? All the Muslims will have to do, is say they murdered because the person was a Jew and Sharia says to kill all Jews, or maybe it was a homosexual, or apostate, since all of these under Sharia should be killed.
Those that even put this brought this to the election, should be deported or jailed as traitors, even death penalty!

This is the United States of America. You do the crime, you do the time. Period. No one can move our country and bring their country's laws with them. You're either in, or your out. Oh yeah. I'll be happy to help you pack and see you through security at the airport. And another thing, your wife and kids stay here for their own protection.

@245Carol Most of that sounds good, Carol. However, we would have to allow the woman to choose to stay or leave. If she wants to leave with her husband and continue the way of life, then it is her decision on the understanding that if she chooses to leave, She may not change her mind and come back. When asked she should be seperated from her husband so she can make the decision without pressure of reprisal from her spouse. The children would be a sticky matter, they are minors under our laws.

my mother has been a judge for many years - there is more to this story - why did she not have him arrested ? why was the judge not brought up on judicial ethic charges ? I highly doubt this is all truth as presented and trust me very against sharia law

@silent fades A lot of things happening in the Unite States. Look at the you tube where in Dearborn Michigan at an Arab festival. Guys were roughed up by security &police for asking a question at a booth that had a sign up for people to ask questions. Christian guys who stood outside the festival handing out christian literature but not saying a word to any of the passing public. I never thought I would see the day where I would see such sites. Look at ACT for america. It will open

@nickeldoor5 I live in Michigan and I saw the video you are referring to. The youngsters were talking to the guy and they were confrontational at first, He explained his view and they began to settle down. They began to ask questions about Jesus and how it conpared to Islamic beliefs, The guy was starting to explain it when the cops showed up and escorted him out. The guy's group was there the year before as well.

@silentfades Where can we get the rest of the story? Even on the surface it is a matter of applying another country's laws in the US. If this judge applied Sharia Law in this matter, what prompted him to do so? Why didn't the woman have her husband arrested...that is a question that needs an answer as well as why the judge was not brought up on ethics charges.

that is why I said knowing a bit about the courts to question if there was an arrest

I believe he was arrested. That's why the case went to court and the judge had the opportunity to make this inane decision. The case was appealed to a higher court and the decision was reversed. The problem is the ignoramus-judge, who probably has not read his own job description recently, if ever.

@vexxterr8095 The problem should not have had to been referred to the higher court in the first place. Sharia Law should have no power in the US. We have out own laws and this couple was visiting from Moroco, if I remember correctly. They should have been subject to US law, much the same as that boy some years ago that was caught in Singapore or a country like vandalizing cars. The question came up as to whether he should be sentenced to caning which is the law of that country. He was caned.
