I used After effect CS4, but I' pretty sure you can do the same thing with other less expensive programmes like Final Cut, Sony Vegas or even Adobe Premiere (but make a research before buying anything ^^')
@alexvalstef2 hmm dont have any of those lol , hmm i think i'll just make simple videos of me playin guitar showing the utubers the different layers and stuff :) i tried to play this but it was kinda difficult :p i did requiem for a dream wif my loopstation :p im kinda proud , i'll put it on here :) maybe u'll like it too :)
