The reason everything is sped up in the back is because GH finds the BPM (beats per minute) and then takes it and puts it into the game.

It's not a fake, the sounds (like the SP lightning, etc.) are the same, they aren't sped up. The chart is actually more compressed, and the scrolling isn't sped up at all. This is real, haha.
