  • this is one of the many songs that they didnt included in an album and they used them later in the albums that they thought the songs were fit. Examples such as New world order, Doctor is calling, Trust, Millennium of the Blind

  • yes people 0:54-1:14 was used in Trust

  • trust its newest than this song...

sorry for my english but im from chile

  • Love the album cover.. and...Hmmm thats why my toe has that funny mark.

  • el intro se parece a una parte de trust

  • I have this album. I've never heard this! The last part of the acoustic DOES sound almost exactly like Trust. Or should I say Trust sounds like this? It has to be intensional. IT'S ALL MEGADETH.

  • wow so many great megadeth tracks , what a great band

  • This is definately a pre-demo of Trust some of it has exactly the same acoustic parts as Trust.

  • This is the sexiest song ever.

  • sounds like a good Megadeth instrumental to me :T

  • The world needs a hero is a good cd, it's just that Mustaine talks too much in the songs and it the video for it was banned.

  • Reminds me of King Diamond.

  • the whole song is a work of art :')

  • :omg: yes!! It's Trust!!

  • Minute 1:28 wow it blows my mind ...

  • Everyone seems to bring up the acoustic part from this song that was used for Trust, but am I the only who hears that the main riff and the ending of this song was also used in Doctor Is Calling? o.O

  • @MetalligardenGirl It's because that track is on Risk, and most people either haven't bothered to or don't want to listen to any of it. Which is a shame, if you ask me . . .

  • @KingOfTheKill10001 Risk is bad. As I've grown I've come to appreciate CtE and Youthanasia. In my teens I despised those records but have come to enjoy them as very good Heavy Metal albums. Risk however, has not aged well for me. I disliked it back then and I dislike it even more now. RISK was a failure of epic porportions. Risk is MegaDave's St. Anger. It just wasn't good. Luckily Megadeth has redeemed themselves quite well since then.

  • @MetalligardenGirl yes you are the only one. no one else bought RISK

  • @Lunatic29hd youre a fucking narrow-minded douche. risk was a great piece of music

  • @Lunatic29hd I bought it but, returned it.

  • @MetalligardenGirl you're not the only one :)

  • it's Trust !!!!

  • @pepewicho96 It's just seemed in some parts :)

  • Marty is a god

  • They should play this in combination with Trust some time, first Trust, then this as second half.

  • @Brutalyeah yeah that would be cool.

  • this is amazing.... most beautifull thing

  • isn't this trust?

  • @theconjuring2 No, the beginning acoustic part was put into trust. This track wasn't released on the offical Youthanasia (I think).

  • @andresoacuna its on the 2004 remastered version of youthanasia as a bonus track

  • @oldschool57483 But I didn't say it was on the original album. :P

  • @andresoacuna i know, it wasn't on the original. im just saying

  • They should've replaced "The Killing Road" with this. This album needed more variety and this could've been it.

  • Marty's groove in this song is jaw dropping, especially for a demo.

  • fuck you who dislikes this video

  • is this a track that didn't make it on the album? it's great, a small piece of the beginnibg is in Trust.

just an observation not a complaint

  • the best song! marty friedman is excellent!

  • I just jizzed in mah pantz..

  • From 2:40-2:55 I was cumming fire. This whole song is amazing!!

  • @stupidbb4 That sounds very tragic.. i wanna try!

  • @LordKylik Hahaha well I can definitely say it's a different...experience. But yeah you should. :P

  • ummmmm it's like trust isn't it ?

  • @camilotrival it is!

  • @camilotrival Noo.. Trust is like Absolution ;)

  • @camilotrival

marty friedman liked the part in trust

so he decided it will be cool to create an instrumental song of that particular part.

  • @MrGozco I actually have heard Orion and i have to say it doesnt sound like anything but a constipated guy on the toilet trying to wrestle out his hard shits, so dont say anything about how its better than or even close to absolution.

  • Holy shit, what a magnificent piece of music, Bravo Megadeth! too good!

  • My first 3 minute 24 second orgasm.

  • MARTY WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT STARTING AT 2;50!!! I dont know... but it made me blow a load. The passion behind the notes with that extremley unique style... incredible. Chris Broderick may be more "technical" when it comes to ability... but that means nothing when there is no passion or sould behind it that we can hear and feel what you wanted to express. I know that sounds like a corny crotique for metal... but any musicians know what im saying

  • @rhythm78 i completely agree marty's solos are orgasmic i feel his solos much more than any of the other guitarists megadeth has had

  • @rhythm78 to be honest i don't know, if Chris Broderick is indeed more technical, well to old Marty maybe not, check Cacophony, marty was pure shred with jason becker back then, but anyways i agree 100 with you!!

  • @TheOrganicMaster No sir, you are the one sucking balls as there is no point of comparing these two bands. Both are the best no one more than the other.

  • @Samueljackson1000

Alright buddy don't turn this into a raging fight

And seriously no this is not a point of a coward this is a point of no one fucking involved you

So stop acting like a smart ass and enjoy the music.

  • pure class solo in this song!

  • I remember when I was in highschool and "invented" the word youthanasia. It was another five or so years before I realizesd Megadeth was the best metal band on Earth.

  • @SammyJackson1000 Who are you? no one has involved you sir

  • I get chills with most of Megadeth's songs

  • @SetTheWorldAfire1

hahah, you and Alex Jones both. Everything gives him chills.

  • Their unreleased stuff are really great Gems.

  • better than trust

  • it seams to be a testament instrumental.

  • TRUST!!!!!

  • Dave mustaine man... metallica's greatest downfall was kicking him out, Ive listened to both bands and ill just say megadeth is superior in every way... Kirk Hammet cant even be close to being on the same level as Dave Mustaine... as a guitarist myself i find mustaine to have more talent and more musical creativity... my favorite metallica album you may ask/ Dave em all!

  • @hazuken Well still Metallica have some better parts like the vocals (not lou reed) and IMO both Cliff and Rob is better than Ellefson, still 13 is so much better than lulu. I love 6 Metallica albums but I love 12 Megadeth albums.

  • It's the solo of trust from cryptic writings

  • juniors bass line in the beginning sounds fucking amazing

  • I know this has been said too many times but I've just GOT to say it;

The dislike bar is like Justin's penis; it shouldn't be there...

    THERE, I SAID IT. ;/.

  • This is better than anything that actually made it on to Youthanasia.

  • @stratity Black Curtains, The Killing Road, fucking Addicted To Chaos? Seriously man?

  • intro kinda makes me think of Tales From the Crypt for some reason

  • What an emotional rollercoaster this instrumental was.

  • wow, that was incredible.

  • @Mrgozco

That sentence made no sense but your a faggot anyway

  • Am I the only person who hear orion by metallica? Sound like he is trying to and killing orion.......better song,music...etc....thoughts asswipes?

  • @MrGozco Not sure if you're a troll or just really stupid...

  • @MrGozco noo... this song isnt like orion at all, in any way

  • The Marty solo was sublime.

  • watch?v=ZLvDWL22B88

watch a live cover of it !!!!!!!!

  • that solo at 1:27 is something else

  • cool

  • who does not like is an absolute fag

  • marty friedman = sicko unless this was recorded when he left anyways sounds like him

  • 1:28 "the doctor is calling" :D

  • i love this song! is amazing! yeah!

  • favorite song off this album.

  • See, This is a mother fucking tune. No words need be said. This is a fucking masterpiece.

  • Sweet...

  • Awesome.

  • This is pure sex.

  • Beautiful.

  • Sexy.

  • Magnificent!

  • Peoples: This was before trust. They used a part from this for trust. So this isn't the same as trust, trust is the same as this. Yes, there's a difference. Or at least I think there is.

  • The first time I heard this, I thought that some of the notes sounded familiar. A few days ago, it finally came to me. The notes are the same ones from Trust, lol.

  • awesome

  • This is the part from trust right before the solo!!!!! :D

  • There are notes from Trust :D but so much :D It sounds good but nothing new :D

  • I always love this song.

    So beautiful and touching.

  • luv smokin a fat bowl to these slow progressive metal song \m/!!!!

  • Main riff of The Doctor Is Calling :)

also its fuckin' underrated ... and great... damn, probably the n1 song of Megadeth...

  • Comment removed

  • this is that kind of songs that give a undefined sencacion just beutifal

  • Dave's a genius.I don't know how he creates these amazing riffs. When I think that he won't be able to create a better riff than the previous, he creates Sudden Death and overcomes all my expectations. He is a true human riff factory!

  • I love this instrumental song <3

  • Underated as fuck.

  • The rhythem for the solos is a riff from The Dr Is Calling from Risk.

  • When it picks up and starts being bad-ass at 1:28 omg love it

  • this is why i love Megadeth..well not just THIS song but its a good example

  • its quite beautiful a sing.

  • its quit beautiful a sing.

  • The first solo bridge sounds a bit like the begining of go to hell

  • theres no dislikes , id like to keep it that we

  • The intro of this song includes parts from the song Trust by megadeth, i just now realized that

  • 1:28

    ..a beautiful and delicious solo

  • Such a great song

  • amazing song

  • amazing no dislikes i guess everyone loves this song

  • 1:45 that part is like the intro of Dream Theater Endless Sacrifice

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • So much feeling in this...

  • this song is like cacophony with marty and becker

  • dude this sounds like Trust

  • @EverythinWentCompton this song was written in 94

trust middle part sounds like this one

  • That instrumental just owns any metallica's instrumental.

  • The Intro sounds a lot like Call OF Ktulu

  • @Kalemox maybe because call of ktulu it's MUSTAINE's work.

  • @Kalemox which dave has credit on on ride the lightning

  • @Kalemox

    Dave wrote that song.

  • @Kalemox The guitar part of call of ktulu is composed by dave mustaine when he's in metallica . So there are similitude :)

  • @Kalemox well for me is very diferent and theres no similar sound to the call of ktulu (for me)

and so whats the problemn... dave wrote it (both, the call of ktulu and absolution) he can do whatever he want with those "chords"

  • Please tell me that I'm not the only one who can see no resemblance between the end of this and "The Doctor is Calling". I can hear "Trust" easily though.

  • @Cynnicio You're right, when I listened to this song I noticed that as well, I somewhat smiled while noticing it.

  • Wow all of Megadeth's acoustic work is always amazing, and this fucking proves it. Awesome song. \m/

  • hmmmm werid start? the rest good

  • @ngarewaO9 dude, opening chords are just amazing

  • love this song ....good instrumental....bands should do more instrumentals like this ....good tune

  • sounds like call of the ktulu

  • @romsy227 It's totally a different riff but has same vibe and formula... started with haunting clean guitar melody than the heavy riff hits with the solo

  • This song really shines when it picks up in the middle.

  • The same notes have been used for the middle part of "Trust"

  • Dave created this riff and then decided to publish it on Trust since this particular recording never made the original Youthanasia album. This is off of the re-release.

  • And 3:00 sounds like the end of "!the doctor is calling"

  • @HereticMocculta

It was Marty Friedmans song I think.

It only made it on the re-release on this album.

  • @05jrock Yep, all Marty's work. That's why he gets credited on "Trust" and "The Doctor is Calling."

  • @HereticMocculta I love this son! i didnt like that it wasnt on the original. Shame

  • @HereticMocculta yeah cause i have an older version of youthanasia and its not on it
