I actually transcribed every note of this solo and you'd be surprised at how simple it is! It's just Jessie's placement and fluidity that makes it so great.
His singles are disgusting...I was at a youth convention one summer and he taught me the "4 over 2". He happened to have used it in this vid. It's RLRL followed by two consecutive kicks....RLRLKK. I want to know what the first roll was. I think it's RLK...too fast to tell lol

@08ThePercussionist08 .... thats because these gospel cats all sound the same .... dont get me wrong , they are phenomonaly talented but its all the same shit ... over the bar linear 32nds .... the only difference between the players are the linear patterns they use ... the first time i saw these kinds of cats I was blown away but its almost annoying now ...i`m definitely over it
