Do we have a software or an extreme huge world physical satellite map? Ive been searching for weeks but no luck. I want an extremely large image or a software that downloads the whole Google satellite map dammit.
hi i figured out that the GMS resolution is indipendent from the monitor resolution which is nothing but map size... it is very confusing to understand the resolution as it is not specified if it is screen resolution or wat? if you rename the resolution to something like map resolution or Map Size it will make it easy for ppl to understand...
Thanks for your support but your application does not work i tried both versions... 1 & 1.03 but both seem to not do what you say it will in the video... IT Just dont work mate...
I'm using win 7 x64 It does not work as you show int he video... it only saves what is visible on the screen but not anything else like you show int he video... appreciate your help
@GraphiTivity I'm using Win7/64bit for development and there was no problem at all with the behavior you describe. Therefore I think you should pay attention to the order of pressing the buttons. FIRST select the resolution, then press GO. At the end save the file. The application decides what to download AFTER knows the resolution. For details consult the tutorial built in the application.
gimme 1 gud reason... when i can do it by simply using print/screen key in my keypad... then why shud i go 4 GMS??? all it gives us are screen-shots with an annoying watermark, right!
I just figured out that when you delete the Activated registry key, and restart the app, the Agree button finally shows up. So i clicked it. It said Thank You Registering GMS!
Why it says that is beyond me because this is a free application.
Anyway, after clicking the Agree button, i closed GMS and restarted it. Then i saved a map. Now you say on your website this is how to remove the watermarks. Well that's bull. There are still watermarks visible on the saved image.
Tried this again just moments ago. Its a usefull but weird application. It set a custom resolution, 512x512, but the saved image is 1899x530. It saves all the whitespace too! I just want the googlemap picture, not the whitespace.
And on the About form, there is still no "Agree" button, only the Close button. I want those goddamn watermarks gone. Is there some kind of action i need to perform to make that button show up? It does'nt say that on your site.
@TheMightyAtomNL There is a bug in the app for the resolutions bellow the resolution of the window. therefore, try to resize the window close to the 512x512 and press again save.
The Agree button is right beside the Cancel button in the About Box. After pressing Agree you need to restart the application.
If you still have problems with this you can write the following registry key with value 1 and restart the software.
@decoder Thanks for replying, but there is no Cancel button either, just the Close button. Here's a printscreen: themightyatom.nl/screenshots/no_agree_btn.jpg (you have to add the ht tp bit manually)
I restarted the app plenty of times, but the Agree button never shows up.
As for that registry key, it was already there and it had a value of 1.
Your application is not doing what you said on your website. First of all i have a different version than it shows on the video, and whatever i do, there are still watermarks. And there is no button in the About window, except the close button.
Also, when i select Custom - 4096 x 4096 as the resolution, it only saves what you currently see in the application. So it doesn't create 4096 x 4096 resolution picture.

No matter what resoution I select to save maps as images, GMS only saves them in 1003x616 size. How do I save big and huge images sizes?
azarazar007 1 year ago
@azarazar007 You need to set FIRST the resolution (and other settings) and later press the GO button. Finally Use Save button to save the map.

Has anyone been able to completely remove the Google 2010 watermarks when you look at your saved maps? It never works for me. :/

Regarding the problem with 4096x4096
Select the resolution and press always the Go button. Only in this case the new resolution will be considered.

If you still have problems with this you can write the following registry key with value 1 and restart the software.
e.g.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PixelChain\GMS\Activated = 0x000001

Why is this so difficult to do?

Your application is not doing what you said on your website. First of all i have a different version than it shows on the video, and whatever i do, there are still watermarks. And there is no button in the About window, except the close button.
Also, when i select Custom - 4096 x 4096 as the resolution, it only saves what you currently see in the application. So it doesn't create 4096 x 4096 resolution picture.
Wtf man.

The About box in the latest release was slightly modified. Please re-visit website, the instructions were updated.

@decoder There is no "Agree" button. Hence, I can't use this program. Not cool.
gspahr 1 year ago
@gspahr if you can't see the agree button anymore than is because you have agreed once with the license so you can use the software.
