it appears you have not found an easter egg but actually the skybox which is used for creating backgrounds with tall trees or skyscrapers or what ever without actually creating anything too huge or complicated plus if anything regularly sized would be blown up to ginourmous sizes outside or worse inside the map and if it's inside it looks like it's there but actually you can't be effected by it this is very easy to get to on games where you can open up a console type in a noclip cheat fly around
