Its only now that I came to know that the male Subli Agoncillo dancers wear the "kundiman" (red gingham pants). Are they not "traditionally" using other colors of pants aside from the kundiman?
the video presented is subli version from Agoncillo batangas. the use of wooden castanets and red color of costumes is very significant in this town some performes also use guitar for the accompaniment of drum, however the subli version from Bauan Batangas uses elongated bamboo castanets and they usually use brown camisa and black tapis for ladies they dont use guita, they only use drum from goat skin leather.
