I have about 6 hrs. worth of Wilco Video that I shot. I stopped shooting them when Jeff personally asked me to stop after the show in Tanglewood Mass. in the summer of 2008. After he ripped me a new ass in front of a bunch of fans I wanted to punch him in the face. The only reason I was doing it was to have these memories forever not to sell it or for any kind of personal gain. But, I love love this band and I Wilco to the bands wishes.

I was also at this show last monday in miami beach, my first time seeing them, had a great view standing in The Pit, wish I had gotten a little closer. Really enjoyed the show, great selection but wish they had played Candy Floss, Nothingsgonnastandinmyway (i think that's the title) and Hotel Arizona. Hope they come back next year to south florida but they should play at Revoluion in Fort Lauderdale instead.
Kind of ironic who many posters here are making note of Jeff Tweedy's polite request that no one takes any videos, yet here you are on YouTube seeking them out...well whatever, we all enjoy the vids none the less
I was also at the show, and having seen Wilco a number of times, I can honestly say it was the best I've ever seen them. They played for nearly 3 hours. I'm in agreement on the disrespect of videoing them after they made such a specific (and very polite) request. Furthermore, this sound quality on this video is a pretty poor representation...if I hadn't seen the show I'd have no idea how fantastic the sound actually was. I hope they produce their own video of the tour.
This was a GREAT show. It was the opening night of the tour. It was Wilco's first time ever in Miami. The band had only one request. No video.
It is rare that a band really works so hard for their audience. Wilco does. It's too bad you couldn't show some respect. Does it really matter why they ask not to record video? They were pretty direct about it.
I'm torn on this topic. On one hand, it exposes people to the tunes who might not ever see the band otherwise. On the other hand, these videos usually look and sound like crap. I don't think Tweedy (and co) are worried so much about bootlegging - I think they are more concerned about crappy quality hitting youtube. ......I could be wrong, however.
I don't get it either. I'm a new fan and this was my first show. Since Monday I've watched a couple dozen live videos already. I'm a fan of live music and most of the bands I see not only allow taping/videotaping but encourage it. This is a great way to expand your fan base if you're not the mainstream commercial types.
I know, I know... but who knows if I'll ever get to see them this close again. I had to try. He didn't say anything to me, but he did to two other people :P
I'm friends with one of the girls that got yelled at by Jeff.....Couldn't help but look up some video anyway!

I wonder why they don't like to be recorded.

Jeff asked nicely not to record video. The computer voice did too. Not cool.

@ayako98, I was one of the people he pointed at, but all I did was record Nels Cline's guitar solo in Impossible Germany, not the whole song. :(
I paid $50 for those tickets, along with $25 for a shirt...can't I keep a little memory of the show? Unbelievable night, nonetheless.
