One can have all the good ideas in the world, but unless you have the right people to carry out your ideas it will all fall to pieces. Clinton raised more money in the beginning leading up to January, but she paid her consultants more in a month than Obama's people got in a year among other things. They wasted a lot of money on useless, pompous stuff like big hotel bills, gala dinners, etc whereas Obama spend a lot of money and focus on ground operations.
