This Penn guy also just said on Chris Mattews that Obama needs a "Oklahoma City" type incident to gain more support from the people. What, the OBL fake raid wasn't enough?????
I just hope that whoever is the Democrate candidate wins.I just spent about 2 hours on the phone trying to convince a friend to vote for Obama instead of McClone. I am so frustrated. OMG I don't know how to reach her, and economics was my first try. She is a racist as are most southerners. I am not. I vote my pocket book and unite with those who are in my interest level. What to do?
Easy. You're reaching her the wrong way. Point out that Obama is her employee. Never met a redneck yet that had a problem with a black man working for him.
I was going to suport hillary untill I seen the movie "sicko" and seen that the secound bigest recipient of helth insurance campaign contribution after Gorge bushh was Hillary Clinton. If she gets into office she going to owe those guy pay back. Thats why I am not supporting her.
Rome was not built in one day. I believe Obama's Healthcare plan is easier "to sell". Once people see the benefit it will be so much easier to modify it. Changing people's mindset is very difficult, especially when a whole nation was let to believe that they had the best system in the world. I have high hopes for the USA. Obama is extremely popular in Europe as we see him as the candicate for a new, and better USA.
First of all, single payer is the only way to go. Health care for profit is the flawed foundation of all the candidates positions. But... you're right. If a candidate is going to get tough on regulating and pricing, is it going to be the one who's got her purse open for health care donations? I don't think so.
I have thought about that and the fact that she thought NAFTA was just great until the regular people who have been harmed by it spoke up to her and she changed her tune. We don't need republican light like Bill Clinton but a real Democrat. Someone willing to try to replace the jobs that have left would be great.
That's ok, but Hillary is pulling out all these elements trying to win all segments of society that ten years ago she wouldn't blink an eyelash on. I'm waiting for her Bass fisherman's card, red neck card, I did Monica Lewinsky with Bill card for the perverts of America. I drink moonshine card, etc. Like the commentator below. She's a fake!
No. Even as a staunch Obama supporter I must admit that the Clinton campaign was inept. After Super Tuesday Clinton had nothing on the ground and took forever to play catch up. In a year when the general election is pretty much doomed for the Republican side running a bad campaign is the utmost thing to fail her.
Hillary's tried; the race card, the experience card, the Rev. Wright card, the NAFTA card, the send Bill card, the I was in Bosnia card, the beer drinking card, the I have a gun card and she still is a loser. Unless she has an ace card she should quit now. I guess the Michigan and Florida vote count card is next.
She's pissed. She thought she would just walk into the White House. She planned to run for President for at least the last 9 years. In Bill's last year as president, she moves to New York, gains residency and runs for Senator. Why? To build a resume in a large Democratic state to run for president in 2008. And here comes a black Senator of only 2 years out of nowhere and grabs the nomination from her. She's mad that the goal she has worked for for 9 years is slipping away and she won't let go.
Mrs. Clinton clearly showed that she was unable to pick the right people to run the campaign. This prove that her experience didn't do her any good. If she can't pick the right people to run her campaign, how can we trust her to pick the right people to run the country.
I agree and disagree. You can pick an idiot on the campaign trail and still be a good president.
...but I'm more concerned about this tragic right turn and race baiting Hilary has done and her reneging on the Michigan and Florida thing. Her word means nothing and she's more concerned with herself than she is with the party, then she'll be more concerned with herself than she is with the whole country. I'm way more concerned with that.
I disagree. Picking the right people to do the job is to me crucial in business, and in politics. One can have all the good ideas in the world, but unless you have the right people to carry out your ideas it will all fall to pieces. Having a bunch of loyal, and obedient managers is not good enough. A couple of two Devil Advocates in a team is always great to have. And yes, I believe the lady wants the job, no matter the price.
Good stuff my friend. You however need to bring more people to this platform. Lets have some more different views, different opinions. They dont have to be different or opposing to urs. Just more variety to TYT.
clinton's old-school "big state strategy" is why she lost and is why she would lose the general election. obama's 50 state strategy is why he won and why he will kick ass in november. he will win the so-called red states as well as the blue states and swing states.
They will as soon as Hillary accpets the majority vote and stop trying to get the superdelegates to back her. She threw That "elite" word a few times at Obama and yet she is willing to let a few "super" people disregard the will of the people and implement what they want. Obama has left her a door to walk out with dignity and honor, yet she continues to try to push Obama into a negative light. The Republicans could not have done a better job to tarnish Obama if they tried. WHAT IS SHE THINKING!?
Cenk may not be ready to be a chief strategist, but he's a damn good analyst!

I am sure there will be several books written and published chronicling this whole primary campaign after it's over and Barack Obama secures the Democratic nomination. Until then, I think the Hillary Clinton "obituaries" should be put on hold. Remember, she is still campaigning for the nomination. Hillary Clinton is arrogant, but she is resiliant. Stop underestimating her!

Hillary Clinton was not delusional when she won Ohio and Texas. She was not delusional when she won Pennsylvania. She knew exactly what was going on and that's why she used dirty politics. She still knows what's going on. She is fully aware the nomination for the presidential candidate is probably lost to her and now she's going to vice president by holding the DNC and Barack Obama hostage. She knows what she's doing! again, I stress, STOP UNDERESTIMATING HILLARY CLINTON!!!
She is most definately dillusional,if she still thinks she won Texas,or did she?
Come-on,she failed to hold them hostage for 3 months since Ohio.During this time she had the entire press and republicans behind her,SDs still on the fence. The press literally said everything she wanted them to say,how she wanted them to say it.Right now,the Neocons have givenup on her,Obama is ignoring her which means the press isnt interested no more as theres no fighting. she has 6 weeks 2 run her bank accnt out
Hillary Clinton was fully aware that Rush Limbaugh's Operation Chaos was working on her behalf in Texas. She didn't care as long as it served her ends. Does that sound like a delusional person? Manipulative ,yes, but not delusional!
If Barack Obama has an once of intelligence, he will not ignore Hillary Clinton but stay on top of each and every action she takes. Hillary Clinton is to not be underestimated. Her longevity in this campaign is clear evidence that she is a very formidable opponent!
The biggest liability our campaign was Mark Penn as he wouuldn't listen to any of the Hillary supporters. Hillary is a strong person and even if the media was biassed she was able overome that by campaigning hard on the ground, but so much of the money went to Mark Penn's salary. I have told many people that I was not against Hiliary because I am a Black man who wants a black man as president. That is the dumbest reasoning for chosing someone who will greatly effect my life. I would not want my future kids to learn anything from her side unless it was how evil people can be to get what they want.

But since I've watched her campaign I can totally see that she's a flip-flopping, career politician, calculating, and a diabolical uber-bitch!!
I've watched her transform from a Democratic leader that I respect into someone not a whole lot better than Dubya. I wouldn't piss on Dubya or HRC to put out a fire!!
HRC should quit and disappear, then Bill Clinton should endorse Obama and stump for him. Bill has more credibility and weight than his wife. HRC should just lick her wounds and not disturb anyone anymore.

Yes, but there is a problem in that Obama is also not going to go for universal single payer system either.
What can we do? McCain is going to acutally increase the costs to all of us for premiums.
We need to lobby whoever wins very hard. Even if we are unfortunate enough for McBush to win.
