Believing (to quote you yourself) that "I may go to heaven" does not make me happy. Why? Because there is no evidence that this heaven exists and I can not live my life based on an act of faith founded in irrationality.

But you have to live in the real world. God is nothing more than in insurance policy. One that probably won't pay out in the end.

@urheadonastick but then so do every religons, muslims say jesus is not son of God, christians say he is, sikhs believe in all that guru stuff, hindus have more than one God, atheists say there is NO God so how do they not go against Christianity too? as a matter of fact christians and muslims have the same beliefs except for the whole Jesus thing but atheist go against EVERYTHING by not even believeing there IS a God.
