it feeds of the electricity nerons in the brain make, basicly you do more stuff, the more power, and the head device feeds off your energy, but to a limit. If you were asleep it would not work because sleep requires nerons to rest.
wrong but you are pretty close,it measures the extent of eloctrolyte stimulation of your minds depending on your state of mind, you see if you are focused you realese beta waves that vibrates at a certain frequency and that corresponds to the level of play,if you are relaxed it realeses alpha waves by a chemical process of your puturitary gland but that was a pretty close answer you got there
actually if you sleep it will still work since you seep into a state of mind, man why do you think you have dreams, neurons don't require rest since they are a chemical process/phase of your brain.
Well from personal experience, they had something similar to this set up in student lounge a few semesters ago and they put a ball on a table and the halo around your head and the more you had on your mind the further away the ball went and as your mind cleared it came to you so this is somewhat legit!
the sensors on your head pick up subtle changes in muscle tension etc. It's cool, it's not REALLY mind power just like those x-ray glasses in the back of comics weren't real (I think...)
Of course if you have no brain power you would think it's a waste of money. It's not real like YuGiOh is
this 'game' is a complete waste of money in my opinion. Sure maybe an 8 year old would find this amazing and cool, but we all know its all fake. You can't move things with your mind its humanly impossible
Nobody actually think you move this with your mind... you don't really get it do you? This uses brainwaves to power up or down the fan that is then used to move the ball... Nothing fake there.
Think, okay? It is fake, but it is not fake. It's fake because they ADVERTISE that it just levitates according to your brainwave concentration, when in fact a fact, it does, but they claim it levitates, it just has a hole under that one spot under the ball, with a fan in it. and you rotate the hole with the dial. They mention No fan/hole at all,the fan/hole is told to activate by your concentration waves. The advertisation is FAKE, but the machine is really activated on brainwave concentration.
no they said in an interview that ur brainwaves(alpha and beta) are read and sent to a counter in the game and then sent as radiowaves to the fan controlling its speed, thus the more u concentrate, the more brainwaves u render, the faster the fan goes, the higher the ball levitates... its just a plastic ball... of course u cant control that with ur mind
Well you insert your $80 along with your hopes and dreams into the machine, attach the headset to anything and watch as the hidden fan blows air out according to 'brain waves' of the user, and by simply turning the dial you can move the ball.
One could say that it costs a bit, but whether it's worth it really depends on your taste in games. Some people prefer more physical games, such as board games and hand held puzzles. People like that might be more likely to enjoy a game like this than people that prefer GTA4 and Fallout 3.
Yes, the fan is under the whole piece, but the air flow is exerted only through a hole under the ball. So by turning the dial, your rotating the hole.
Also, if something like this was a fraud, you would think that there would be at least one article about it somewhere. Still, I haven't bought it or used it. Personally, I think someone should do a double blind test on it.
I find it hard to believe that this is actually a fraud. why? Because I saw a toy that does something similar in Toys 'R' Us. It was Star Wars themed and measured your concentration. The harder you concentrate, the higher the ball goes. This just looks like a more complex version of the exact same thing. Personally, I find it hard to belive that two different companies would come out with a toy that does basically the same thing at the same time and one or both were scams.
no it doesn't read your theta brainwave activity using EEG technology in the headset. It runs a pre-programmed routine that makes the fan randomly increase and decrease in speed. I recieved the product a couple hours ago and tested it by connecting the headset to my hand. The fan behaved exactly the same. I must have one smart ass hand then, there's gotta be a brain in there since the headset reads brainwave activity right? Wrong, Mattel lied and should be held accountable.

thats fakes i had a game like that when i was little. its a little fan that u have to move and the ball travels with. its to fool other kids that u have telekinesis
how could you have it when you were little if this is an extremely new technology? It monitor's your brainwaves and adjusts the fan based on your mind. It's an interesting little gizmo.
Brain computer interface technology without expensive laboratory equipment and now in consumer hands is finally here as following the predictions by Kurzweil.
In the future as this type of tech filters it's way thru everyday living don't be surprised in the decades or centuries to come if we don't need this type of mechanical technology to help us move objects with our mind. Perhaps this how we humans become telekinetic. In essence you have to exercise the brain to become telekinetic. And with this tech I think we are well on our way. What do you think?
Not a bad thought. I tend to believe that through engineering our own intelligence and creating certain technologies we begin to have abilities that one could see as telepathy, telekinesis, etc...but you could be right...these abilities could be lying dormant in our brains already, and technology will help us unlock that potential.
Lets hope that they do not hook up such technology to nuclear silos. . . what if the guy in charge of launching the missiles has a bad night with his girlfriend and feels like "blowing up" the world?
The government already has an entire special army full of those with special abilities (spirit energy abilities). They are just waiting for the right time... Actually, I'm GLAD China came out with this MindFlex, because THIS year, everyone is finally starting to waek up and smell the TRUE roses... You know? Truth is coming out.
Come on guys, you know that it's fake. Well, it's a real game, but it's designed to make you think it's being moved with your mind. It's really funny actually. lol That ball would move it that headgear were on someone's head or not.
You obviously wouldnt do to well at it as it requires a game. You really have no idea about what technology is around today if you think its fake.
The headband measures beta waves in your brain - the harder you think the stronger these are. This is sent to the fan which the foam balls sit in so the harder you think (stronger waves) the faster the fan goes and the higher the ball floats. Its actually a pretty simple device.
Fans blow the ball up and down. It's fake.

games like this, and the Force Trainer I very much so view as the modern version of the 2 inch black and white transistor TV from the early 80's.
Wildly impractical, and *almost* pointless.... but god it's cool and I want one! lol
Yeah, in 20 years we'll look back and this toy and laugh at it's basic thought-interaction capabilities. Since future toys will be truely amazing.
But that doesn't mean I'm not buying this, and the Force Trainer today. :)

duh idiots, your mind doesn't control the ball, it controls the amount of air pressure being let out. hence the fan...
